Yeah, I watch soaps. It's been a regular thing with me and mom our whole lives, this one. Today airs the series finale of Guiding Light, a show which has had its ups and downs; especially in these recent years with the terrible writing. (Not to mention the awful crappy new opening, with the awful crappy new theme song.) Yet even with that said, after 72 years, its fanbase, after doing everything it can to keep the show on the air, will have to let the show rest in peace; and it will be missed greatly by all its fans. I still say Tom Pelphrey (who plays Jonathan Randall) is the next Keanu Reeves, lol.
Oh, and they're replacing it with "Let's Make A Deal." -- if it weren't for freakin' CSI, or even Two And A Half Men, TV (for me, anyway) would be entirely pointless to watch. I'm busting out my DTV in the back room today because I don't have a DTV Converter Box yet... but really, do I need one to hear *bad news* (Which this strange country just has a knack for airing and viewing that crap 24/7, I'm sick of it!) and do I really need to watch "See-B.S."? I think not!
