I just beat the game on hard difficulty and was expecting a nightmare level to become available. Was it left out in this game or did I screw up and accidently select normal on my last playthrough. If that was normal, then wow, congrats Falcom for smacking me around so well... sorry hugo.

Do you have the Ys Origin Extra Disc? Nightmare mode is available with the extra disc, or Vista version.

Huh, don't know why I don't have that. Anyway, sweet, now I'll be able to have a challenge when I play as Toal. *Excited* Thanks guys.
PS: I guess that added very easy as well?

Ohhhhh... well that would explain that. At any rate I downloaded it from where arukimi posted and now the un-rar-ed folder is sitting on my desktop. When I go to run the setup, it gives me the little setup window... then I hit Ok, Ok again, and then what I'm assuming is finish, but then a window pops up with some kind of disclaimer or error (in japanese). Wasn't sure if it installed but when I ran it nightmare and very easy still were not offered.
So do I need to throw the extra disc folder into my program files, or is there an updated shortcut I'm supposed to click on, or am I missing a step altogether?
Edit: Or does it have anything to do with the data_1100.na/ni files? I seem to recall people mentioning those.

Nevermind... just looked 6 topics down from here, hehe. I just know I put that brain of mine somewhere around here; eventually I'll find it.
