New to the board, been in the Falcom community for awhile. Some of you already know me - Floofy and Gillian and some others. Anywho, I'm helping translate Legend of Heroes VI and like... I dunno. Been in the Falcom community for awhile. Been a fangirl since Faxanadu, though I didn't actually know that was Falcom till years later... I guess my first realization that Falcom was like freaking amazing was, umm, prolly Ys VI to be honest. But before that I had my dalliances with Falcom. As I said, Faxanadu when I was like in middle school, and then like... Vantage Master Online (in 8th grade and stuff) and Ys VI in high school. Just didn't realize that these games WERE Falcom till Ys VI. Then I was like "OMG WHAT?!? THESE WERE ALL BY THE SAME PEOPLE! <3333"



Anyway, in case you couldn't tell, I like to ramble. Hehe. So yeah, thaaaaaat's me.

Welcome to the community and one of the best ones on the net in my opinion. : ) Also, thank you very much for working on the Sora no Kiseki FC translation. I'm really looking forward to playing it. My fiancee, who is Japanese, has already finished all three of the games and keeps telling me that I'm missing out on an incredible gaming experience!

Oh I've seen this forum before, tbh. Mostly from google results hehe. So I know it's really good. Kinda stayed away from the registration button for various reasons that ended up being misconceptions.

Also - I've only played through FC and SC ><. I need to play the third, but I'm computerless right now =(.

Actually I didn't go to Otakon (no money ><) for the panel, though I know floofy was there and such. Last year I went to Otakon was like... '04 or '06 or something I think. I've only been twice - the 10th anniversary and the year after that, whatever years those ended up being =P.

But we may have spoken online or on IRC or something... I pretty much keep Nimue wherever I go, so check your AIM contacts/IRC logs or whatever I guess.

edit: You live in Fairfax? Wow ><. One of my best friends lives in Fairfax! Small world.

Nah one of my best friends is still in high school. Works at a TJ Maxx. Kinda doubt it's anyone you know lol. Fairfax is a big place and Braddock Road sucks ><. It's scary, especially in the snow.

Welcome to the forum, nimue! I can't say I remember bumping into you there (I make goldfish look like elephants), but I hang around in #eidenyaku somewhat frequently and leech info off of the team members... >_>;

Funny that you mention Faxanadu, I saw it at the local used game store for $10 and almost picked it up, despite the fact that I lack a NES.

I think you'll fit in quite splendidly here, though I do hope you can handle a taste of extreme idiocy if you plan on reading many of my posts. :E

Well, first of all, welcome to ALoY, nimue. Glad to hear despite knowing ALoY long before, you eventually did decide to join us.

Anyway, I'm quite confident I've heard things about you as well, perhaps from omgfloofy and Varion, but I'm not sure. And it's nice to know you're one of the few people working on Sora no Kiseki FC's translation project. I don't actually plan on playing the series as they are, but if the games were translated to english, there's no doubt in my mind I wouldn't wait a second longer to dive into them.

All in all, I hope you enjoy your time here.
