I usually only tend to watch the South Park episodes that "click" with me in terms of the topic; usually the parodies they do on politics, economics and popular culture (esp. movies, like the Grand Trilogy or the Peruvian Bands episode) tend to be amazing. Other stuff is sort of happily mediocre, and I don't bother with it most of the time. I never got into American Dad, first cause I don't like the animation style, and I guess I never had the patience to wait for the funny bits. I've also never liked Simpsons, although some Futurama episodes are brilliant. That said, I'm not even sure how come I've seen so much American TV given that I don't have a TV in my dorm, nor do I watch TV on a regular basis

HAPPY MARCH, EVERYONE!
Damn zippy time. >:( The first quarter of 2010 is almost over!
Edit!!
Did anyone watch the closing ceremonies to the Olympics last night? Google searching has brought up a few results were folks expressed that they were sort of lame. I agree with them; I really don't think they should have done what they did with all the inside jokes and all that. I mean, you're performing to an INTERNATIONAL audience. Hell, even *I*, a Canadian, didn't think most of the jokes were funny.
The only part I laughed at was the silly montage of Canadian athletes at various events with pasted speech balloons near them which showed them constantly apologizing for passing people (during cross country or speed skating), scoring goals, checking other players into boards during hockey, etc.
Methinks the giant floats of Mounties and moose and beavers might come across as being extremely pro-Canadian even though it was meant to be a parade of stereotypes. ^^ (I'm sort of disappointed they didn't include igloos and polar bears though.)
The presentation by the future host city, Sochi (Russia), was very pretty but sort of boring. :/ Still, I liked it more than London's Summer Olympics preview. WTF was that one all about? >_>

Was Family Guy ever funny at all? Yes. The episodes before the first hiatus (like seasons 1 &2) ...and maybe the episode where Stewie and Brian buy a house. Futurama always was and always will be solid.

The concept of Karma is an intriguing one. Too bad for all of the positive examples there are exponentially more inversely true ones.

The concept of Karma according to... ? There's at least 4 or 5 major variations i can name off the top of my mind

The concept of Karma doesn't apply here, because the admin hasn't turned the option for Karma on.
I have recently rediscovered the joy of reading.

I have been feeling sort of ignored as of late. >:V
Maybe one day when I finally break and take a cleaver and start stabbing slashing people, people would notice me?
I'll try and go for the stupid drivers first. They need to be taken off the road for everyone's safety. Then maybe I'll go after any fucking neighbours that thinking blasting music during night hours when normal people sleep is a good idea. And maybe do away with some teen FREAKS is something that should be on my hitlist too.
Ironically, my feeling of invisibility is more about on-line and not real life. :P
Even more ironic is that fact that I've been pre-occupied with gaming so much that I haven't actually spent much time doing other things online. XD!

Don't worry Nunuu, you're a wicked gal. I always pay attention to you! O:
Plus, you've helped me get into rhythm games, which is nice!
My own thought:
Since I'm liking Final Fantasy so much I've made a hitlist, and it is a pretty obvious one. It goes in this order, all on the American console versions:
Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III/Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII.
Things to note! I may not play FFIII before CT and vice versa. Who knows! Also! Final Fantasy VII will probably be the PSN version.

Final Fantasy II is pretty uh... it's different from the experience you'll get out of I or III. I honestly can't imagine playing that without abusing (no bugs or cheats!) the broken combat system. Seems that leveling up normally wouldn't be enough. I won't recommend or warn against it either way, I enjoyed it well enough, I guess, just a heads up that it's character growth is pretty different. The concept of Karma according to... ? There's at least 4 or 5 major variations i can name off the top of my mind I guess just the basic principle that says doing good things leads to positive things.

Oh. o: Well, now that would be a perfectly amazing game choice that I would support 100%! I may be biased since it was my first RPG ever, though!

Oddly enough Ys was my first ARPG ever and Final Fantasy is my first RPG, so I've got retro tastes for both sides of the genre. But yes, I meant the SNES version I'm skipping the DS/GBA versions of all of those simply because because. I mean, I like sound quality, TV video all of that stuff, but dislike load times so I'll probably not go towards the PS1 versions.

Some blogger over at Kotaku just went on a mega rant about what he hates about Japan. I skimmed most of it and he hits all the major points why I've become un-enamored with Japan the more I learned about it. Well and he goes much further than that. Though I'm glad that early on I had the good sense to say "I'll never try to be Japanese, I'll never try to go live there.. I'll just always be a tourist, wear a cowboy hat, say yeehaw, and be a gaijin"

Yeah, I'm the same Schlag. Japan is cool and all, there's some damn good stuff, but there's also terrible things I dislike, so I'm happy to be a tourist.

Well, THIS is fucktastic... My PSP-1000 kinda shit the bed. It has the same problem *THIS* laptop has; a bad power wire plug. Luckily, those parts can be cheap, if you know where to look.
