Actually, I'm not really much of a composer myself. I'm just mathematical, geometrical; I arrange patterns or numbers on a computer screen, instead of sounds, and then I play them. My success rate is very low, having only composed at most 3 possibly listenable pieces. One is haunting, one is thrilling, and the last is... funeral-y? Seems to be my thing; music is generally dark, sad and scary, at my hands.
I'm pretty sure I have a disc, one which contains my compositions, back at home...

Random thought: I'm not home right now, and I don't really miss it... but I am farther from a loved one, so it does suck, being farther away. I'm still trying to think up what to get her for the big holiday, so that I don't suffer from redundancy later. I'm thinking about getting her something she doesn't know (currently) that she wants, but she'll want it and be happy with it when she has it. The ultimate difference between knowing, and going by what you know -- going by what you know is a fleeting thought "Oh, I know what to do." vs. knowing "I'm going to put my heart and soul into coming up with the perfect gift this holiday.". I don't want to *just* buy her something, I want to give her something with my heart.

I guess I'm a pretty decent composer considering I've had no formal music training whatsoever.

Eating is one of the single greatest pleasures in life! I'd be perfectly happy if I could eat during each and every second of it, trying new things, old things, anything really! As for sleeping, you may change your mind later on. Sure it's an annoyance now, but when that someone special draws near, I bet dollars to donuts (...Boy would I! Glazed, Frosted, Boston Creme...! If I could get a donut right now, I'd put my money where my mouth is! Anyway...) that you'd actually have more trouble getting OUT of bed!

Heheh.
Is it bad that I know the general time for all of my girl friend's periods?
It just comes in handy y'know. Oh shit is it the 3rd week? Gotta watch out for HER, and I'll remember to forgive anything she does.

Unsavory Sting: www.doctoroctoroc.com/8BitJesus/Random thought (also serving as a note to self): Currently trying to farm money to get the damn Soul Eater Ring in Aria of Sorrow. >:E Got the Mimic soul so I'm in the process of constantly throwing Soma into spikes at the Clock Tower. However, I'm not even sure these "spike sessions" nets me 1500 gold each time or not and the ring is costs 300,000. :/ I'm only up to 72,000. >_> Sigh. I levelled up way too much on my way to the Forbidden Area and back. ^^; Next boss is Legion~! I actually took it on earlier but the fight was going on for way longer than I remember so I figured I was either underlevelled or just didn't have the "right" souls and equipment on. Regardless, I just turned off the DS and turned it back on again to reload the game. :P

Aw nooooooooo. I forgot what I was doing in SotN. I need a new brain, goddammit.
Also! I forgot the whole Mimic soul trick worked better with beefier equipment. No wonder it was taking so long. :P I actually stripped Soma down to be as nekkid as possible before hurling him onto spikes. :|
The difference in damage received between almost-nekkid and fully armored was about 20 HP! D:
Also #2: Being overlevelled and having the strongest sword in the game breaks boss fights. DDDDDDDD: I think I took down Legion in less than a minute. ^^
More random thoughts: We have flurries outside. ;__;
Randomly went to page 11 of this forum and was surprised to see how many threads had 0 replies! No one was talkative back in 2004! D:

Are you using the crisagrim (Probably spelled wrong)?? ??? If you mean the Claimh Solais? Indeed I am. Random: So my mom spent oodles of moneys on dental stuff this year and I've been going on about how it'd be good if we could get a digital flat screen TV. (We currently have a monstrous CRT that weighs about 293847239784 tons.) She said that once she's done with all the teeth stuff, we can go and get a new TV which pretty much meant sometime next year or beyond. When we came home today from the dentist and some shopping, she went to turn on the TV and it went *POP!* Now it's on its way to television heaven. :/ Sigh. 2009 is truly a cursed year! Here's the run-down of crap that's happened to the house and other home-related this year: - had sidings replaced
- had eavestroughs replaced
- waterproofed the basement
- snow blower died and is awaiting replacement
- lawnmower died and got replaced
- garage door opener and door needs to be replaced (It's currently in "manual mode" right now)
And now I can add the television to that list. >_> It's a good thing is that Boxing Day/Week/Month is coming up so some flat screens are bound to go on sale for decent prices. The problem is whether or not the good TVs/highly rated ones will or not. :P Speaking of which, does anyone know of any good sites to read up on flat screen TV reviews? I think I'll be going for an LCD.

Nope, I believe he means the Crissaegrim, which is far and away the best sword in the game. It doesn't sound it from the stats, but it is, because it attacks like, 4 times in less than a half-second. I've actually been wanting to switch out the Claimh Solais since it swings kind of slow but! It's got a nice wide arc. I'm using the Ripper soul as my multi-hit attack. :B But wait, are you guys talking about Symphony of the Night because I'm not! :P

School's over, and I'm bored. I don't like all-day gaming sessions like I used to as a kid. Maybe I should go pick up a book or something.

Just finished reading through the Tome of Lost Souls that came as a pre-order bonus with Knights in the Nightmare, it's pretty cool. Getting info on all of the recruitable knights made them feel far less 2 dimensional, and seeing the stunning full body art designs (as opposed to the portraits which only featured a character's head) was nice. The developers also had some pretty funny remarks regarding the characters, and they even admitted to not really understanding the story at times. [/li][li]had sidings replaced
At first, I'd thought that said "had siblings replaced". XD
Haha, same.

I kinda like things like that, in reference to the plot of KitN. Reminds me of the translator's notes on the back of the Q-Ko Chan manga, wherein they basically say "Yeah... we really have no idea what happened either. Good luck!"

Nope, I believe he means the Crissaegrim, which is far and away the best sword in the game. It doesn't sound it from the stats, but it is, because it attacks like, 4 times in less than a half-second. Along with the Medusa Head Shield, it's my favorite weapon in the game. -Tom Zomg, I totally remember that sword. xDD Last time I played SotN from beginning to end a few years ago with a friend, we were trying to beat the crap out of the game as fast as possible. I recall during our playthrough some monster in the upsided-down library dropped it. We never saw that sword in our previous playthroughs and we were both "WTF?!" after a few sword swings. xD Then we asked his older bro if he could check around the web for more information about the sword. "Guys, you just got the best sword in the game." xD I tried battling that gigantic, yellow demon with a club/wand/whatever that was considered the hardest boss in the game (Galamoth xD) seriously underleveled. I kept spamming attacks with the sword, and I thought it wouldn't work out when I was left with 80 HP or so, but then it fell down. xDDD It was epic. xD And fun, using that cheater's sword. Ah, heck. xD That boss and sword deserve to be posted: Galamoth, without sword and thunder-resistance thingy: Galamoth, with both: Anyway, we beated the game in 2 days. xD We just had that urge to play SotN, and did it in a weekend.

Man, I totally LOVE Rush. I also hate having money sometimes... I have grand plans on what I'll spend my money on, but then I get the cash and I'm completely indecisive on what to get! Aaagh. Perhaps you guy's can help me? I'll make a poll if I know you're willing to help swing the decision.
