Portrait of ruin sucks monkeyfuck. SUCKS MONKEYFUCK. That's the funniest thing of them all. This thread is in need of the spam. It only eats that, it is allergic to everything else. (True for every thread here, actually.) If this thread is anything, it definitely is: mad (True for every thread here, actually. SC.) xD And there was also this, also once posted somewhere in the spam thread: Is it a coincidence all of those came from the same thread? No, it's "simple probability , my dearest nunuu! " I'll try looking for more stuff some other time. xD

I deactivated my Facebook account about a week ago, and I otherwise haven't touched it since the personal drama back in the beginning of March. Even before that, I was oddly antisocial on it for a social networking site. I don't especially want people from grade school tracking me down and going "hey, remember me?", because I was shy and uncomfortable in real life back then (more than now), and a lot more social online. Frankly, when it comes to staying connected with the people I actually care about staying connected with, message boards and LiveJournal work much better for me. Back on topic (now that it's been revived and all), I was kind of wondering about this thread when I saw this quote a while back... Fingering (Musical): The placement of your fingers over guitar strings. "I broke a G string while fingering a minor!" Fingering (Sexual): Penetrating a female with one's fingers. "I broke a G string while fingering a minor!" ...It's a multi-purpose example! XD

Lastly, the music. Oh god the music. That's going to be one huge (and supremely epic) OST if they include everything. Talk about your one-stop shop for Falcom musical goodness. Here's everything I caught scrolling past, plus what was posted on the site. Original:Day/Break Childlike Eyes Blaze At My Feet Twilight Wanderers From Ys:Tension Final Battle From Ys II:Ice Ridge of Noltia Over Drive From Ys III:Chop!! Valestein Castle The Strongest Foe Descendant of Genos From Ys IV:Celceta, Sea of Trees (Woohoo!) Bronze District Temple of the Sun Theme of Adol 1993 (not named but you can hear it in the background at the end) From Ys V:Break Into Territory From Ys VI:Release of the Far West Ocean Mighty Obstacle Ernst From Ys Origin:Genesis Beyond the Beginning Scars of the Divine Wing Scarlet Tempest From Ys Seven:Innocent Primeval Breaker Rush Out (so now do we get the full version?) From Sora no Kiseki FC:Hollow Light of the Sealed Land Recovery Silver Will From Sora no Kiseki SC:Dive Into Your Fate From Sora no Kiseki 3rd:Cry For Your Eternity Maybe It Was Fated Phantasmagoria Overdosing Heavenly Bliss From the Drama CD:Dragon Dive (Tita's Chapter) Always On My Mind (Klose's Chapter) From Zero no Kiseki:Get Over The Barrier -Roaring Version- From Legend of Heroes II:Stopper Grosstoss Castle From Legend of Heroes III:Dark Beasts Appear Roudo Castle From Legend of Heroes IV:Out Of My Way! Ochtum's Wish A Line To Protect From Legend of Heroes V:Limits of Power I Won't Forgive Interference To Every Future From Gurumin:Soaring Through Azure Sadness Silence of Negative Ions To Make the End of Digging (Best. Title. Ever.) From Brandish:Headless From Brandish 2:Gadobadorrer Karl Kyares From Zwei:Illusionary World Serpentina Demon King Vesper From Zwei II:Dog Fight! Leave It To Ragna From Sorcerian:Dungeon (Lost King's Scepter) Town (Pentawa) Gedis (Sorcerer of Darkness) Bloody River (Lucifer's Floodgate) Castle of Sand (Cursed Oasis) Blue Dragon From Xanadu:Four Wind Gods The Last of Dragon Slayer From Xanadu Next:Evildoer From Vantage Master:Phantom Demon War To A New Road Warriors From Monarch:Advice ~Come to Mona's Shop~ From Dragon Slayer IV:Lyll Worthen (boy, this game brings back memories) From Dinosaur:Spirit Tower And if that wasn't epic enough, apparently there's about eighty more songs they haven't revealed yet. Hey guys, I'm back! Haha, old chap! When was the last time I was here? Haha, old chap! I saw Ys7 available for PSP (which I recently bought) and I can't wait as a belated birthday present. Haha, old chap!!! Ahhh, the voice in my head goes all British on me during such posts, and I go into a silent giggle-shock.

I probably missed this when it was first posted, and in general I haven't been poking around the Ys Seven board too much to avoid spoilers, so I just saw this now... Ys 7 NOW ON SALE FOR THE TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TI-86 Playing to the strength of its amazing... • 6 MHz CPU • 128 KiB RAM • Luscious 128×64 monochrome LCD • Serial link port; allows two TI-86 calculators to be connected to each other for multiplayer Dogi mode *wakes up in cold sweat* I'm afraid your dreams may have been a prophecy (or a terrible omen, depending on your stance). A Falcom employee leaked this exclusive screenshot of their groundbreaking new version of Ys 7 earlier today: According to what Google translator would let me read of the page it was on (which has since been taken offline due to legal reasons because of the huuuge breach of Falcom's NDA) the developers at Falcom apparently decided that 3D models was not the right direction for the series and that they wanted to return to the series' more basic visual roots of the PC-88 and MSX... only they scaled a little too far back and settled on the 1bpp graphical prowess of the Ti-86. Expect this brilliant new edition in the Ys series to include such features as: - Amazingly crisp, finely dithered sprites with rich contrasts courtesy of the Ti-86's stunning monochrome LCD
- A rich, beautifully composed soundtrack rendered through "Forced Chiptune"™ (with "minimal" loss of processing power) via the 6MHz Z80 CPU, brought to life in brilliant 8KHz Mono when headphones are plugged into the Ti-86's link port*
- An exciting bump-based battle system presented with Falcom's new "Simulated Fastness"™ technology, utilizing the unique attributes of the Ti-86's screen to make the world blur around Adol as if he was able to move at Mach 5. Those demons will never be able to see you coming! (or vice-versa)
- The Ti-86's 6 MHz Z80 is used to its full potential to deliver an astonishing (1) enemies on-screen at a time! Battles have never felt so intense!
- Adol isn't alone this time around! Dogi can join in the action and lend a hand in battle either as a computer-controlled companion or as a second player on another Ti-86 via the Link Port! (Dogi is displayed on screen at the expense of one of the on-screen enemies)
- Much more to be revealed... Stay tuned!
*Sound is not available during 2-player linked play....Sorry, I know I'm over 13 days late for April Fools (and 12 for this topic apparently), but I just couldn't resist after reading that post. ...This may be the most awesome thing ever posted on a message board. XD

Double-posting, but... since a conversation with a friend over MSN earlier tonight reminded me of it, I'd like to nominate this entire thread.

The zoom in on that pikkard had me giggling. For an unnaturally long time, too. I still laugh just thinking about it.
