Hello, the name is Rebel40000, but you can just call me Rebel. I just discovered this place a couple days ago, so I decided to join. I also discovered the Ys series not too long ago, when I decided to purchase Ys Book I & II off of VC. I didn't know what to expect from them, but I instantly fell in love with those games! So, just a couple days ago I also decided to buy Ys VI for the PS2 when I stumbled upon it, and currently I am playing that game, also loving it immensely.
So, just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi! :]

Welcome aboard, Rebel! There's lots of great Ys games for you left to play. Oh, I'm sure there is. I still want to play Oath in Felghana, so I hope that it is released outside of Japan for the PSP! I don't own a PSP though, but I would definitely buy one for that game (or heck, even the remakes of Ys I & II and Ys Seven)! Welcome Rebel! The Virtual Console is a great way to introduce new people to old games. |

Welcome! Great way to get into Ys! The one you played on VC gets my vote for best version of Ys I & II. Ys I & II Eternal Story, and Ys I & II Chronicles follow after that on my favorite versions list.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. What you may not know is that there's actually a full English patch available for the PC version of Oath in Felghana, so you COULD play that game even now! There's also a full English patch available for Ys VI PC, as well as Ys I & II Complete PC (which are even better versions of the games than the ones on VC, at least in my opinion). And there are English patches in the works for several other Falcom games, too, including Ys Origin, Xanadu Next, Brandish 4, and Legend of Heroes VI. It's a good time to be a Falcom fan! So welcome, and please, enjoy your stay!  -Tom Ah, I know about some of those, I've been thinking about giving them a shot, mostly because I REALLY do want to play Oath in Felghana, and I am very curious about the PC versions of Ys I & II (which for that matter, I hope we get those released over here for the PSP, too).
