So, I did vaguely imply in a random thread a few months back that I would share some scans of the cards from this set since I managed to nab a whole box. And I do intend to uphold that statement  [This isn't the whole set obviously, but there was enough variety that I never got more than a double of a few cards, so not too bad]. crappy phone-cam preview pic: 
Now I'm just wondering what kind of dimensions these scans should be if there is any interest... I swear my scanner is so crap sometimes I need to set it at like some stupidly high dpi setting just to shrink the pic into something non-scuzzy...or maybe I'm doing it wrong ^^;; Well I could just do the scanning part and someone else could fix up the pics ^^;
Any thoughts/opinions? Has this been done before? Or is this stuff old hat already and not worth the effort? :B

The bigger, the better, I say!  -Tom Well, personally I've always been one for skill over size, but hey, whatever rocks your boat man So yea, back to the scans, I went and scanned the first segment of cards [Sorcerian x7 cards, both sides @ 400dpi + magazine descreen: HERE] and you guys can take a look and let me know if this is an ideal size/format [photobucket kills quality so I threw it on mediafire instead ^^;] Not sure if anyone cares about the backs of the cards, if not then that's half the work gone already :B |

Me god.... what lovely cards! I never ever thought I'd get the chance to actually see what they would be like from the inside. I've been incredibly, incredibly curious about them ever since I saw them on Falcom's english page?

Argh! You've made those 'I-must-collect-carrrddddsss~'-urges resurface once more with these scans. :'D Thank you for the scans by the way. They're gorgeous! *___* Being the leech that I am, I grabbed them incredibly quick! XD (They also look very different from what I imagined them to look like? I have an Elena card and she's..... not at all like these?)
About the cards - the first four, are they paintings or photographs of figures....? O___o I keep getting the feeling that those are actual sculptures....? I blind? :'D
Ah.... and! A pretty stupid question (since there's probably no way I could ever probably actually acquire them, buuuuuut~) where exactly did you manage to grab them from?

I actually had mine scanned a long time ago but I think I've deleted them since. XD
Maybe we can trade our doubles!? XD I gots a box of Vol. 1 and 2. ^-^~~~

Yakra - I got them off ebay cheap. Really lucky find I guess, I'm too cheap/lazy to hunt for them on Y!JP ^^;
@mecharatta~! - I dunno, I don't have too much of a "gotta catch em all" urge with these ones, I might just be interested in finishing the Ys portion of the set ^^; Unless I can cleverly disguise them inside holiday greeting cards to avoid customs, then we can swap XD
I'll bbl with more, got some laundry and bathrooms to conquer ;>> oh joy |

Next up is more Legend of Heroes; I threw 1 with 2-4 for consistency, and a few Dragon Slayer cards are mixed in there too Go HERE for those, and a couple Romancia scans are HERE as well. Currently working through Vantage Master and Ys cards now |

Okay, I lied, so there's Vantage Master, Ys, AND Popful Mail scanned now :B Vantage Master x18 cards: HEREYs x18 cards: HEREPopful Mail x9 cards: HEREUp next: Brandish, Falcom extras, Cards lists [why are these considered cards!? ;>>] and super shiny special rare cards @ 500dpi [just because]. And then I'm done |

Truly, Gillian?  Would you be interested in selling them separate, or would it have to be the whole set? I'm curious how much that'd come out to; I'd be interested in adding something (like Romancia cards) to my purchase.  ...think this Romancia thing's turning into an obsession? I wrote the only Famicom FAQ on gamefaqs -- and I never write FAQs!  I'm also curious what Romancia looks and sounds like in Sorcerian -- whichever versions feature references to it. (Does my Falcom Special DVD-Case Set ft. Brandish 4/Mona Mona/Sorcerian/Legend of Heroes have said track and/or area? I'd check if it were readily accessible, but I'm miles from home.) |

I...didn't forget about these, really ^^; Anyways, I've got the Brandish cards HERE, and Falcom Game Box Art & Checklist cards HERE. Scanning the box [because I can!] and those super special shiny cards and then I think I'll be done ^^; |
