  Hi all!! I really love the Ys series especially the PCE-CD, however I am building a collection of (hopefully) ALL the Ys games starting from the very beginning. I was searching for Ys IV stuff and happened to come across your site on my searches. This looks like a busy community and I am really grateful to hopefully be part of this community. Much appreciation for getting back to me and its great to find a busy Ys community..... Most people (except for my GF) that live locally to me just don't 'get it' if that makes sense.....

My GF is into Ys as much as me and she helps me with walkthroughs and story and so on....

Once again many thanks to everyone's warm welcome.
Slightly off topic but my current Y's status is Ys IV on PCE-CD... I think I am half way through. I've just witnessed Eldeel's 'power'... Now I am off to Miyu's Tomb.

There used to be an Ancient Land of Ys IRC channel, yes. xD Hm, perhaps it would fare better nowadays. Also, welcome. Welcome to the forums! If only my fiancee was into Ys games, then we'd be set. Ah well, at least I got her temporarily hooked on Falcom love with the Sora no Kiseki trilogy. I'm trying to get her into the PC version of Gurumin next or Genso Sangokushi, which I guess technically isn't a Falcom game per se...

Dude.... My GF is currently doing a dissertation on Stephen King and she keeps mentioning comparisons with the Dark Tower and Ys I&II (Like Dahm Tower etcetcetc).
