More like Boringlands.
WRPGs are lame-o.
Lame WRPGs with lame FPS elements are even lamer.
Muramasa
Opoona
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom
No More Heroes
No More Heroes Desperate Struggle
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Chronicles series
Guilty Gear Accent Core +

Not to mention countless VC and Wiiware titles
There's more too, but I'm pressed for time (ie my little sister wants to do something stupid with the computer and I've got a Desperate Struggle to deal with)
You see, I didn't write down those games, because they're not so great. I actually enjoy Wii Sports Resort, but Wii Fit is a total rip off.
Notice how I didn't even put any Nintendo first party games. Yeah, even though there are some good ones, there are better games that less people know about.
I see somebody likes to paraphrase. It's a shame because you had almost quoted me down to the last word... but you messed up the end.
You should be aware that the "f" word you used is highly offensive to some people, so maybe you'd like to watch your mouth? Just a thought, would want to make any of those "fags" angry now would you?
I should also note that the stipulation that I am homosexual because I have a nice, well developed, and mature taste in video games is foolish. Most people are gay because they like men, but apparently I'm gay because I like good games? What's worse is that you used it as an insult! Why, that's like saying I'm black because I enjoy progressive rock! No, wait, the only reason I could be black would be because my skin tone is of a dark brown colour.
I thoroughly enjoy how much your mockery of me went awry, like the way that you typed in no way properly, and properly typing is something I take pride in!
One thing I love is that people seem to think that I love the Wii. Why, yes, I do. Because I love video games
Just like I love the Nintendo Entertainment System (and thusly the Famicom), the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (therefore the Super Famicom) the Sega Master System (and the Sega MK III), the Genesis (Mega Drive), the Turbo Grafx-16 (PC Engine) or even the obscure Wonderswan. I like all of these things, ergo I like the Nintendo Wii, ergo I like every other computer entertainment system to fall before, concurrent with, or even all that shall fall afterwards.
Yes, the XBox 360, and PS3 are held in high regard from my perspective and they're all equal to me. What do I care about the hardware it is made up on, or the media that surrounds it? What do I care about the crappy games that pollute its library? "It" being, well, any video game console in existence! All that I care about is playing some good games, and enjoying them! It doesn't bother me where the disc, cartridge, or cassette goes, what bothers me is if the content of said storage device entertains me!
And maybe you should begin to think the same way before you make precarious (and offensive) jumps in logic and live your life in ignorance.
Anyway, I'll just go ahead and enjoy my digital entertainment, immersing myself in worlds unseen before and experiencing tales and journeys that I'd otherwise never enjoy without regard to where it comes from or what it plays on.
[Disclaimer: My previous mention of dislike WRPGs stems from the fact that I dislike WRPGs and has nothing to do with the objective quality of any title of the genre. The problems I have with WRPGs mostly pertains to the idea that the stories cannot be told as well because of the freedom those games often allow, and because of subjective mindings suchs as the art design, music production, and typical gameplay.
The reason open ended stories simply cannot be told as well is not hard to discover. Watch any great film, or read any great book. While the stories may be told in multi-layered narratives, they are not told in multi-directional narratives and therein lies the problem! I conclude that a linear story can only be more well done, irrefutably!
Sometimes a story with multiple endings or things of that ilk can remain beautiful, but those are always focused decisions made by the creator that are highly controlled, usually decided by few choices, and are most often limited to the ending.
The exception of this rule is visual novel type games, but even those ultimately work in a linear fashion, the player simply decides which line to take and reads through that.
I hope I have made myself clear and shown where my bias stands, but also have shown in which way my bias does not matter to my argument. Please, enjoy your enlightenment!]
The only reason I used it was as a way of mocking you, for dramatic effect of course.
If you noticed the quotation marks when I used it, that shows that I normally would not use the word, but you had used it and that was wrong.
You're wrong again, I did not call you a faggot, I called your choice of words tasteless, by turning them against you
As a matter of fact I never truly called anybody faggots; because of the way I formatted my text, anyone with half a mind would see that what I stated was purely harmless to the gay community, but oh so bitter for you.
