Finding the Time for Ys...

Hey guys...

Firstly an apology because I have not been able to fully post and give you my fullest attention over these last few days. Its basically been stoopid busy with work etc and at the moment me and my gf are doing the whole 'plan for the future' thing with the first step being moving out of the 'shared flat' situation we have currently.

Its all been rather manic... But I now find myself at a loose end and I got to thinking if I was the only one who felt like there was no spare time ever....

Without being too prying on peeps business I was just curious if people study/work/are generally busy currently and what with... Does anyone here eat/drink/sleep Ys?

But seriously though I just wanna kick back with some in depth Ys V (currently grinding which gives the gf something to do when I am at work....) but I feel so drained and I have an OCD thing about completeness... If I am not thorough in my approach to games then I won't enjoy them. I can't explain it simply but if I can't give Ys V 100% then I won't bother...

Is that a bad attitude given my work/life situation??

Does anyone have any Ys Etiquette tips that would benefit me?? I wanna get into that mindset but sometimes I get soooohhh drained... I am 27 going on 60!

Would anyone admit to any rituals before/during/after an extended Ys session?

I feel guility about saying this but if I am to be given redemption I first need to explain my sins... I've been playing Final Fantasy VII on PSX on my phone emulator in my break times at work... I feel dirty for even saying it.... I did have some great experiences with friends and family on that game though.... Fond, fond memories... Need more Ys!!!!

All I need is a mobile PS2 emu and i'll be in business!!

I might have to cleanse myself with some Ys V tonight!!

I think one can find time for hobbies if he/she tries hard enough, unless you're in investment banking and work 20 hours a day or something. It's not like videogames take a lot of effort.

Myself, I don't "breathe" Ys, I played through all of the PC games once, more than once in the case of Origin (my fav.), but I don't think I'll come back to them anytime soon. TBH, I'm waiting for a new Falcom PC release.

But seriously, I can always find free time if I want to, because rather than complaining about how busy one is, or wasting time browsing youtube/facebook/etc, you could be playing games or doing w/e else of your choosing

Its interesting you talk of facebook as I have deleted my profile for that very reason... Its was just an annoyance rather than a useful tool for keeping in touch... Too evasive.... But thats another argument, for another board...

I actually think I play more games than when I was a teenager... I've even got my girlfriend into Ys so maybe I shouldn't come across as complaining....

I've done mad things in the past and I was thinking about my job and future and really thats the main reason for the thread really. I am too 'in depth' sometimes.... lol.....

Seriously though I owe a lot to Video Gaming in general and so I like to be part of the things that made me happiest!! I say this with total conviction: Ys as a series is life alteringly good!!
