Not sure if "term" is the best word to use here.
Something that has always bothered me, does anybody know of a good translation for 理 [ri]?
This is used in a few of the Fire Emblem games and is used as a category of magic [rimahou] (which uses natural forces to attack with, aka fire, wind, thunder, ice) as well as an elemental affinity [ri].
In the English versions, they use Anima in both cases. although they do use Truth at least once and I swear I've seen Nature as well. Meanwhile the most commonly fan translation seems to be Reason.
It's even less clear in the Japanese versions since they just call it Magic (obviously they couldn't be bothered to keep things consistent in both languages, they do that often). One of the later games calls it Elemental though.

That's... beautiful. Wow.
Hey, I remember hearing some mumbo-jumbo about The End from Metal Gear Solid and difficulty making his name for it? Any wyrd on that Word?

I may be mistaken, but iirc "li" refers to the way "qi" is organized in the world, according to Dao?
But well, literally it means logic or reason.

Oh, I should mention, though, that SMT: Nocturne and Fire Emblem aren't the only games to use this "kotowari" term... you know what other game uses it, too? Sora no Kiseki!
