Yo. I'm Toddrick.
I've been a Falcom fan since I played Faxanadu on NES as a wee tot. I also played Legacy of the Wizard, but I didn't like it very much (and still don't, actually.) My first exposure to Ys was the DOS version. I like it. The music may suck but it's VERY fast! I recently got a PC Engine Duo-R off eBay along with Ys Book 1+2 and Dragon Slayer: Legend of Heroes.
I've always liked Falcom and Ys, but now I'm a frothing at the mouth fanboy.
Other than Falcom's stuff, I'm a gamer on general grounds with very diverse tastes and a lot of different consoles to prove it. I love all types of RPGs; console or PC-style, 2D fighters, platformers, scrolling shooters, and puzzle games. I don't like FPS (I don't like how you can't dodge stuff), RTS (too frustrating) or survival horror (just plain boring) games, which I guess puts me out of the "normal" gamer range these days.
I also read a lot fantasy novels, and prefer the works of Raymond Fiest and David Eddings, watch a lot of really bad old horror movies, and don't like anime all that much (I love the art style, but 99% of it is really, REALLY bad)
So, that's me in a nutshell. Nice to meet you all.
