I can't believe I haven't played FFIV in over fourteen years. I need to get on that. And After Years. I think the graphic overhaul in it is quite gorgeous. I never watched any coverage on it so I found out there are some cool bonuses, which I'll hide in case they are spoilers:  Play with the SNES music or Arranged! I also didn't know there is a new middle scenario that bridges the gap between the main story and The After Years. I'm totally playing with the SNES music. RULES! |

Wow! Panzer Dragoon RPG. One of my favorite soundtracks! Me too! Not sure I've heard anything quite like it, especially not in another Japanese RPG. So perfect for the game!  Gu Jian! If you want to talk about it or need any help let me know! Is that The Last Story OST in the corner? Looks pretty  Thanks, I will do! I have no idea when I'll get around to playing it, as my Chinese is still kind of bad, and I still have a whole pile of other Chinese RPGs I haven't played. But it was going for cheap on Play-Asia in a sale they had recently, and you sort of sold me on it with your postings a while back. :'D It was a preorder bonus with the game. The box contains a nice little artbook and a seven track premium soundtrack. I actually had no idea I was getting it, so it was a nice surprise. :'D The Last Story looks fantastic and it's a MystWalker Studios title that is an action-RPG. I'm very interested in this. The most recent news I found for this though was dated April 5th that suggested that this and XenoBlade Chronicles may be coming to North America soon due to some recent activity with their domains being registered by Nintendo of America. And I spy an Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG in there too! That's my second favorite game of all time. : ) -Thomas Xenoblade is amazing and absolutely ought to be played! Maybe my favourite game of this generation. The Last Story, on the other hand, is...ooookay. :'D You shouldn't play it expecting a traditional Japanese RPG, as it's...kind of not? :'D It's more of an on rails action game with mild RPG elements. That's actually probably its biggest strength, though! There are a lot of things that aren't perfect about it, but because it's so atypical for a JRPG it remains quirky and different enough that it's still lots of fun to play. It's not a brilliant game, but it is a somewhat interesting and fresh one. Definitely one of my favourites too! My brother and I played it back in our jolly rogering days, and I liked it so much that I always wanted to own a copy, but I didn't speak Japanese, and the extortionate prices the English version fetches on ebay put me off. Luckily the Japanese one is substantially cheaper. I actually won that copy as the only bidder in an auction that started at 1p. To be honest, I felt...kind of guilty actually going through with it. :'D |

I don't tend to post everything in here anymore, but I just have to show this off:  I'd probably be playing it right now, too, if I could actually find the stylus for my DS. (It was a bit difficult to get a good picture that wasn't made too bright by the flash and didn't have any annoying reflections in it. This is the best that I got.) |

Real mixed bag in the post today -  ...but one very happy Kimimi! I've got some kimono fabric on the way for a few craft ideas I have in mind, I did want to use some sari fabric too but it's strangely difficult to buy online here :/ |

 Great multiplayer fun!  Rulesome. Did you ever play Super Bomberman 3, with it's amazing soundtrack? Archie's Megaman #1 is out. Just got it! I think it's much better than Dreamwave's, and could be better than Megamix, thanks to the incredible art of Patrick "Spaz" Spaziante. They've already proven with their long running Sonic series they can produce great comics. Hopefully this will go on for a long time. twitpic.com/51584p |

I have an excuse for not being active lately. I got enough games to last me the rest of the year!  The local game store is having an end of school sale, everything's been marked down, and everything is buy 2 get 1 free.  Obviously I had to get something to play Otogi on! The TV's been used around the house for a long time, I just bought it back into my room since I had somewhere to put it now.  Also, I have officially graduated from high school. Yay! |
