Not looking to make a grand intro a simple hello suffices

Well, I must admit I was suprised to see an entire forum dedicated to Ys let alone one with so many members ^^; for a moment it seemed as I was the oly one who knew of the Ys series.

I have played Ys 1,2,3,4 and napishtim and have not yet played origins, oath in felghana (though its mostly a remake) 5 or 7 (though I plan on getting 7 even if i dont understand a thing <--- (signifies determination))

Well I hope to become an active member and hope you guys will accept a noob of Ys on these forums.

I'm pretty new to the series as well, and we're pretty welcoming of newbies -- but at the same time, several of us know the series inside and out, so (as Wyrdwad said) we're willing and able to answer any questions you might have.

Oh, if you think Oath in Felghana is mostly a remake, you have NO IDEA what you're missing. . The story is (mostly) the same as in Ys III, and the areas are (at least conceptually) the same (Tigray Quarry, Illburns Ruins, etc.)... but that's as far as the similarities go.

hehe, interesting way to describe it, well from what I have seen it does look fantastic though I held myself back from watching any playthroughs so I wouldn't spoil anything for myself, but i'll definitely give it a shot when I get the chance.

thank you for the kind greeting everyone and i'll definitely be asking alot of questions especially since i never had anyone I could talk too about the series (well one friend but shes only played Ark of Napishtim)
