Two trailers back already confirmed the complete list, the missing two are Yunica & Hugo (as one entry) and Cassius*. Sorcerian will just have to be satisfied by its rocking assortment of songs. Hey, it's doing better than Popful Mail right now (no support characters, not even any confirmed music). It's criminal I tells ya!

* Just like they left Lowe for last in playable characters, apparently they're going to make us wait until the end to get the most awesome support character.

Th...they're just saving all of their love for Sorcerian 2 of course.. yeah.. that's what's going on.. it's coming out next year on PS3 and it's gonna be...it's gonna be great......;_;

Kind of sucks that Yunika and Hugo are support only.

my sister said she would have actually bought this game if those two were playable characters. and she's never played a falcom game in her life! so that would've been awesome.
oh well.. guess I can just go back to trying to convince her to actually play Ys Origin.

I'm not sure what they have left to break. You've already got no SP drain (translation: Spam Ceasar Rush or whatever until everything is dead), auto Flash Guard (translation: Your weapons have no effect, foolish Krankorians!) and instant EX (translation: Two unblockable high-damage attacks in a row). Unless Cassius' ability is 'Press button to instantly win' I'm not sure what they can do to do him justice.

I remember reading somewhere that each character has a theme for their own chapter, and the Dragon Drive was Tita's Chapter theme.

IIRC, Get Over the Barrier! is going to be a track in Zero no Kiseki. It's just being used in VS first. And it sounds awesome.

The only new arrangements we know of are the ones on that CD. Now, the site identifies the set as a compilation but not specifically as a complete one so there's a chance that some of the other songs we know about (or the ~80 we don't) will also have rearrangements. Certainly I expect more original songs than just the five listed so I doubt it's a complete collection on at least one front.

That being said, the last trailer showed a BGM select list and some of the songs were identified by soundtrack (such as Descendant of Genos being identifed as coming from the OiF Prearrange CD) so I imagine that even in a best-case scenario most of the songs won't be remixed, certainly not the newer games at least. The first big trailer had a straight version of Theme of Adol 1993 in the background and that's from a game that has a pretty good comparative need for some new arrangements.
