falcom.com/kaisya/ir/pdf/100416_vssp.pdfYs vs. Sora no Kiseki is getting a limited edition and a drama cd bundle. From what I can get, the items are 1. Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki Alternative Saga Soundtrack which has new songs and arrangements. 2. ALL IN ALL CD that contains a range of Falcom Songs. 3. Special booklet which contains information about Falcom's popular titles? Limited Edition - 5800 yen Drama CD Bundle - Limited 7600 yen. From what I can understand is that this is the common bundle thats in the limited edition and drama CD bundle.

Sooo.... either one can get a limited edition bundle with the Drama CD or soundtrack? :/ Not a bundle with both of them together in it? (I would want the drama CD too! Even if one could not understand a word!) Also~! Looking at the website and the special section in there - I see voice actors for Adol..... Atleast I think I see voice actors for Adol? :'D He shall finally speak ingame?!  |

By looking at Adol's profile, it looks like he is voiced by Takeshi Kusao. I'm pretty certain that he voiced Adol before, in the Ys anime, I think...
Anyway, even if Adol doesn't talk, he'll probably grunt, taunt or even shout something in RAAAAAGE-! Something like that... >.>

Things I've noticed on the site:
Something about Falcom All-Stars and 'backup players'. Maybe this has to do with it supposedly having a feature similar to assist trophies in SSBB?
There's only 8 slots for Sora no Kiseki characters. THERE BETTER BE SOME ANELACE IN THERE, GODDAMNIT.
Zwei!!, Gurumin, Gagharv, and Xanadu characters also. DO WANT. (Although they probably won't be playable.)
EDIT: Looking at Julio and Chris's page, it seems they're the 'assist trophies'. I can't tell what the kanji next to 'support' are without Rikaichan, so yeah.

Adol spoke in Ys 7 briefly, whenever you swapped him back into the lead. The remainder was grunts, etc. Seeing as this is based off of the Ys 7 engine, I wouldn't be surprised if they recycled some Ys 7 voices.

I just remember him going 'Hya!' or 'Gya!' or something. :'D But then again, since I was so ignorant playing it, I guess any actual spoken words would have sounded like so to me. Though like Ys SEVEN they should have an option to just turn off his voice for purists. That had me laughing pretty hard when I first found it

There's only 16 slots total for player characters on the official site... so I have to wonder if that's the number that will be in-game.
I'm fairly sure a lot of other Falcom characters will be used as summons, in a way, though. Like assist trophies in SSBB. Except awesome.

I'd like to point out that Adol really isn't silent; story-wise he talks as much as anyone else (except maybe terra who should just sit down and be quiet for a while) his actual dialogue just doesn't get written in. It's not like he's Link who says more or less nothing throughout 10+ games. I was glad that they at least gave him some voice acting in Ys 7 to sort of get that point across. |
