Sure, you seem cool enough. But this still makes you better.

I think I'll listen to Six Degrees since I just bought it. While I read Berserk! Hell yeah!

Ehhhhhhhh...the included music better be the full OST to sell me on the LE instead of only "over 20 tracks."

Just hardcore nerd posted on the Ys Facebook site with this: pics.livejournal.com/nunuu/pic/002kffpb/But anyway, yeah, Amazon Canada tends to be fucking stupid when it comes to listing games. We either don't get them at all or it's a few days to a few weeks AFTER the listing shows up at Amazon.com. Well, I think Amazon.com will ship the game to Canada so it all else fails~~~~ And hey, there's always the local EB Games/GameStop but they might think you're trying to order "Wise Seven"! Better hand over the request on a piece of paper so they know what you're talking about. XD Reminds me of the time I was asking about Gurumin at a GameStop in North Carolina -- the guy totally didn't understand Guru-min as he pronounced it Grr-rer-min. >_>

Id rather like to have the Ys Seven jdk band shirt, too bad that it was limited only to people that attended.

Yeah that's what I'm assuming too; chances are I'll just pick up the standard then. At $50 bucks without more bonuses I'm pretty much of the mindset that I might as well pocket the $20 and drop another $10 for a second game altogether later on instead.

Ehhhhhhhh...the included music better be the full OST to sell me on the LE instead of only "over 20 tracks." I wouldn't count on this. I mean, if it were the full OST, it would say so - it wouldn't just say "over 20 tracks." -Tom If it was Palace of Reticent Lava and Mother Earth Altago repeated 20 times on a single disc I'd still be sold I think those might actually be my favorite Ys songs now >_>

I hope the artbook is better quality than those that.... somehow.... NISA turns out. While I do like NISA's pre-order artbooks, their choice of fonts and just the paper and placement of pictures and stuff kind of errs me off. :'D Still though~! I want this LE set really badly! *____* Incredibly! Infact, despite my complaint about NISA-quality artbooks above, this Ys one could be printed on newsprint and I'd STILL be happy! X'D (Also - want that map!!!!) Now I only have to sort out ordering from amazon somehow. X'D And~ A very stupid question popped into my brain while reading this and now... I really must ask this 'D): To answer the original names question, I don't think most (any?) of the quest givers even had names in the original version, just descriptors of the kind of people they are. Yeah, this. Unlike virtually every other Ys game, Ys Seven's NPCs don't have names - they're just things like "Happy Bartender" and "Pikkard-Keeper" and such. So they're not really sacrificing anything at all by changing names. It's gimmicky, but it's also kinda cool. I certainly wouldn't mind my name attached to an Iskan scholar, or a pikkard-keeper, or a crazy old woman who sends you to a shrine in the forest 5983049850 times! -Tom Was that crazy old woman really truly actually called a 'Crazy Old Woman' in the game? :'D? [Oh... after clicking on the Facebook link (it's opening again! !) and reading one of the comments there, it actually WOULD have been nice if the Drama CD had been translated. :'D]

Was that crazy old woman really truly actually called a 'Crazy Old Woman' in the game? :'D? ^^;;;;;;;;;; She's the village chief so she's ... Village Chief. Or something. Too lazy to look at either the guidebook or my quest guide. :B

I always assumed Fatima was the village chief and not the shrine lady D:

I loved that Gurumin's grandpa was called 'Hyperbolic' something-or-other! Hey, that reminds me, has anyone managed to go up the steps just before the brick wall guarding (badly) the monster world portal in Gurumin? EDIT: Parin's grandpa!

Yeah, Nunuu, you are mistaken. Elk's grandmother Fatima is the village chief. The shrine lady is named something like "Pious Old Woman. Damnation!!! Curse them for being in the same village! XD *shakes fist at self*

W-why isn't it on amazon.ca yet?! D: [never mind that I don't have a PSP yet, I need to get this XD] I know sometimes amazon.com can be an ass and not ship to Canada, or they *will* but overcharge shipping/not let you have the free shipping offer, and throw international something-or-rather fees at you. ;>> This looks epic and I want to get it. Also, screw facebook XD Jessicat would be a weird name for an npc anyways

I'm beginning to wonder if I should put in a pre-order at Amazon.com or not. But ... it's only June. The game will probably show up at Amazon Canada in August, a few weeks before it ships. :P
