I don't know any of these people. All the Christopher Walken you'll ever need. (Though you can never have enough Christopher Walken)

I know who James T. Kirk is, but I've never actually watched any of the movies with him or read up on details about him.

It hasn't been more than 3 years since I actually gained an interest in movies, and Star Trek or whatever is, in addition to being super old, not disgustingly popular in Denmark like it probably is in America, so I don't feel too bad, really.

To be honest, if someone offered me a candy bar in exchange for all of my memories of shatner, regis, and walkins, I'd probably take them up on it. Think B or C rate actors that somehow got popular... well actually regis is a morning tv host, but the other 2 are so bad they're good. They also both have a very distinctive style of acting/speaking.
Anyway, you won't become any more of an enlightened individual by knowing any of them.

Shatner is Canadian, so he's got extra points for me.
They're both awesome! Walkins and Shatner! Two of my faves!
But I don't necessarily like the "expert" shit people care about all the time, I want entertainment.

If Walken isn't available, there's always Kevin Spacey!!
This guy is such a riot. ^^
And I suggested Regis because he's overacts so much with his SUDDEN EXCLAMATIONS! XD
Wait -- wasn't I against B-movie-like acting for Felghana? Why am I making all these suggestions!?

I'd like to make the point that if they have voice acting, it's probably going to be cartoony/anime-esque. I imagine it being similar in quality to PS2 Napishtim... which at times is really good and at other times really bad... *cough* Terra! *cough*

So does this mean we don't need to worry about getting Fukt by Falcom's official romanizations? Because I say Dahm them to hell!
However, should someone get a chance to whisper a word or two into the right ear, may I humbly suggest that the extraneous 'l' be retained on the Tarwarl, just because? ;-)

Well, EB Games/GameStop Canada sure is taking their time in listing Ys SEVEN. >__________>
Hirm ... just spoke to Justin and apparently, they don't have it in their systems. At all.
Fuck you, GameStop. And fuck you Amazon Canada.
I have no qualms about giving my money to companies in the US. I'd rather not though so I can save on the whole shipping + customs fees and taxes and I would like to give my moneys to support the Canadian economy. But hey, if they're going to ignore a potential hot selling game, then it's their loss.

Hope it's not THAT LATE into the season. I kept hearing whispers of late July - early August. Even had my preorder fully paid upfront yesterday in hopes of said time frame.

Eh, I don't really need it in July anyway, I've already beaten it twice. I have Ys vs Sora no Kiseki and Narikiri Dungeon X to play through then

You'll have to wait for the end of July for Alternative Saga unfortunately. I know, I've been counting the days. Why won't they move faster?!

That's right, 2 days before my birthday too. My 21st birthday.
If you order directly from Falcom does it ship on the release date or arrive on your doorstep on the release date?

Hrm, a quick chat over the ol' speaking telegraph with the vendor at my local Gamestop™ Brand Electronic Entertainment Supplies Dealership informed me that they're getting Ys Seven on September 1st. Is that just a placeholder date? They're already taking preorders

Aw man, stupid firmware 6.30! Make sure they don't put any anti-piracy or firmware requirement stuff in it. (Don't get your panties in a bunch, I've already pre-ordered it, I just don't want to give up CFW... or use an UMD ever again)

All signs point to late August or early September, I'm afraid. Don't think the release date has EVER been late July/early August. XSEED's own official announcement has always says "late summer," too. -Tom This. All of the early dates listed SEVEN for an August 31st shipping date, at the earliest.

Gamefly has SEVEN, Oath, and Chronicles listed with probable release dates and the boxarts we saw earlier: They're using way too much real estate for characters.
