I've started trying to convince everyone I know who has a PSP to buy this. Does XSEED need a marketing rep?

If they really want to sell copies, they should give away free pikkards too. And not stuffed versions either. Real pikkards.

CANADIANS!

I'm pretty sure that's what all those European people are meaning when they say it though, so...
I always call the US as America, so that's how I enterpret it. If they said "North Americans" I'd look at it differently, but that's the other hand.
As it is if someone calls me American (not NORTH American) I will say "Canadian!".
Because that's what I am.

Actually Wyrd, I have to disagree. When Canada starts getting the exact same products as America (I know for a fact there's some things available there that aren't available here) and the exact same preorder bonuses for games (We have missed out on MANY compared to America, I assure you) then I might agree with you. But until then, Canada is it's own separate entity, and there's a reason we have a border

You are both a Canadian and an American, as far as I'm concerned. "American" is just less specific. (: That should be Canadian and NORTH American. :B America/n is generally synonymous with the US of A. Always was and always will beeeeeeeeeeeee.

Why should it all be up to such material things? We have an entirely different culture. Need I remind you, during The War of 1812, we burned down the Whitehouse, and continuing to currently there's plenty of differences, and diversity that differentiates a Canadian and American. Less so the further west you go, mind you, but around here, maybe because it is the Capital of Canada that I live at, and that happens to be beside the extremely distinct French Canada, but to me, I'd rather not be called something I'm not That said, I've got nothing against Americans. I quite like the classical values and other such things. Although I've gotta say, I think we've usurped you in terms of being Land of the Free Our success rate for immagrants and otherwise is nominally higher

Yeah, isn't America supposed to imply the entire new world; NA and SA? That being said, I think the people who generally resent the term 'America' are those in South America. It always gets applied to the US but there are people on an entirely different continent who the name can apply equally to.
I don't exactly understand why anyone else that isn't from the US would want to be called American. I'm under the impression the term American has almost a negative connotation when used outside of the US. Inside the US it's a patriotic and prideful word.

That's how I look at it. Being a Canadian, if I get called American it really degrades me.

Who cares? I wouldn't care if someone called me Scandinavian or European instead of Danish. I just don't see the big deal.

Well, yeah, when you get right down to it, the percentage of people who care one way or the other is really low. I think more people actually argue it for the sake of arguing semantics rather than arguing out of personal slight.

XD At least no one's freakin' out like some of them Taiwanese people. If you refer to them as Chinese, they'll blow up. TT

The funny thing about that is if you refer to the country as Taiwan, then the Chinese get angry, since its official name is the Republic of China. Or at least it was when I learned about it in high school in like 2005.

...anyway, both GameSpot and GameStop list Ys SEVEN for an August 17th release. Earlier then I expected. ...and LOL GameStop lists XSEED as the publisher AND developer.
