I'm looking to convert the limited edition to the standard edition, but I've updated to the latest version for the limited edition and beaten the game. I'm hoping that I can still use my save file and not have to start from scratch.

If you're looking for the game saves on your computer, we must first know what your OS is -- are you running XP, Vista, or Windows 7? As far as updating goes, I have no idea -- but I know Falcom to be very generous in that they wouldn't update something and make your game saves incompatible. Even on the off chance that the updated version doesn't automatically give you the extras, I'm pretty sure you could just load your old save back up, beat the game again (provided you did save just before the final boss, that should be pretty easy) and voila! You'll have everything unlocked. (Unless, of course, the PC version has everything unlocked from the get-go -- it's been a while.) // I knew I saw another thread asking this same question, under a different board! Nonetheless, I have found your answers! All of them! Vista: c:\users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\FALCOM\ XP: c:\documents and settings\"USERNAME"\application data\falcom\

Thanks. It turns out I didn't need the save file. Converted to standard edition then applied the translation and it works like a charm.
