I find Cruxie's attack noises more annoying than Aisha's. :P I'm not far enough in to experience it myself, but I kinda feared that. Most soft, mousy voices don't get handled well when dubbed. The VAs should be forced to study Police Academy to see how it's done right My new annoyance: C'mon Falcom, having to kill a certain number of each type of enemy to complete the data in the Monster Journal is sooooooo Ys I & II Complete. Extra annoying is how large, less common enemies take as many kills to complete their data as regular ones

Uh ..... crap. .____.;; Didn't realize that that should have been hidden info. Sorry. ^^~ BUT! At least you don't know the circumstances cuz that's a bigger spoiler, I think! I'm not far enough in to experience it myself, but I kinda feared that. Extra annoying is how large, less common enemies take as many kills to complete their data as regular ones But yeah, Cruxie sounded cute in Japanese! But in this version, when she attacks, she SQUAWKS like some type of bird whose name escapes me at the moment. Anyway, for monster data, all I care about is the materials they drop which don't take a billion kills to register. XD You know what you should aim to do? Leave as many question marks in the journal as possible!

As long as she's not voiced by Gilbert Gottfried/Iago.

Tidus sounds exactly like Gilbert Gottfried when he laughs in the Japanese version of FFX. It is very, VERY hilarious.

Awww, I like Cruxie's English voice a lot, actually. It's one of my favorites in the game (and definitely my favorite of the female character voices). -Tom The voice is alright, but it's just this -one- noise she makes while attacking that's so damn high pitched.

Too bad that doesn't really work when there are girls in the party too.

Annoyances? I'd say my only annoyance (and it's VERY minor) is that treasure chests don't disappear from your minimap once they've been opened.

The mini-map and SELECT map. At least you can turn the mini-map off, but come on, something like that shouldn't ever have been included in an Ys game. Knowing in advance the exact layout, entrances, exits and even treasure (with a certain equip) goes completely against the spirit of exploration and adventure. There was really no need to make the already not too intricate dungeon designs an even more brain-dead affair.
Material system. While I would have loved to have the best weapons at the end of the game, even after completely exploring the final dungeon and finding every item, I've only got 98 of those stones at the final savepoint. Because you need 50 stones for every weapon, I could only get Adol's STARsword. Why do they force this kind of grind upon players?
Light crystal puzzle. Why does it turn so slow, why can't you at least make it turn the other way by using a pierce or smash attack. Blergh. Worst Falcom puzzle ever!

Because you need 50 stones for every weapon, I could only get Adol's STARsword. Why do they force this kind of grind upon players? !!!! Some players have found a way around this~! I wish I knew about this so I didn't rage when I played the Japanese version. XD There's a room with 3 harvest points for Soul and Moon Stones that are close to one another. I think one of them, in particular, is away from an enemy respawn point or at least you can move the characters far enough so that the enemy won't attack. If you don't mind leaving your PSP on overnight, the 2 AI characters will keep harvesting the Stones for you so when you wake up, you should have more than enough. ^^ Actually, this trick works with various locations too. I should add that to my guide. >_>! I agree that the damn things could turn faster! ........... Was there any other Ys game that had this sort of puzzle? o.o
