Which is even more bizarre! I mean, I'd honestly compare it more to Mario 64 than any Zelda or Ys game! -Tom Not sure, maybe I'd be more accurate in saying it's very Falcomish? I don't know, it's not something I understand myself, it's just one of those things.  |

Screw Mario 64 -- it's more like Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for the N64, however I still find that to be a far more brilliant game.

Wyrd. I'm not sure what you're playing right now, but you really need to drop it - this second - and go pop in a copy of Goemon. That's easily one of my top 3 favorite N64 games, period. It's got all the quirky charm you would totally love in a game, too. You're doing a massive disservice to yourself not having played it! ON TOPIC. New IPs are pretty cool, I think. I look forward to the announcement.  Though I do agree that announcing an announcement is kinda ... eh. Just announce the game please. |

Who else gets the falcom update emails? It says something about Ys IV, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's an announcement about the PCE games becoming available as downloadable PSP/3 content, with I-II ready and III and IV being worked on. Not exactly groundbreaking, though the fact that Dawn of Ys is getting more exposure is always cause for celebration as far as I'm concerned. Kinda funny they aren't going to Virtual Console like I and II already are but whatever, I'll still be able to play them.

Yeah kinda interesting to switch over to PSP/3 when they have Ys Book I & II, Legend of Heroes, Legend of Xanadu I & II all on the Japanese VC already.
Maybe they got tired of Nintendo's gross mismanagement of the VC and WiiWare in general. (though that only might be in NA and Europe. Japanese VC has an AMAZING selection)
...wait... these'll be on PSP too?! FUUUCK now I'll need to pay ridiculous markups for PSN points to buy them all
