This is a story based on Florence + The Machine's 'Drumming Song'. I've got the first couple paragraphs here, but you'll need to download it (the link is right after the preview) for the full thing. Let me know what you think! Being a Lady of the People’s New Religion is no easy task. One must do act always with Lord in mind and this means to remove many aspects of what it is to be human. The originators for our religion enhanced themselves with machineparts but this was later deemed impure: “She who must bind herself in order to stay right isn’t being right at all, for it is said that to tie someone down and to be tied down yourself is the essence of Demonics.” This means in a metaphorical sense – We believe that we are always dying, like the Buddhists of old. However, as our essence escapes us throughout life we must be free at all times. This includes a freedom to fail, and in removing this freedom by becoming perfect one is being of Demonics. One could say that by using machineparts one is releasing bad essence for Lord. This story concerns itself with one such impurity, something very human: the disgusting and libidinous feeling of human affection. As a member of the PNR since birth it was a terrible thing to go through, one which led to a guilty sinful death. DOWNLOAD LINK: www.sendspace.com/file/twedqr
