Hello everyone, I am a new member and I would like to intoduce myself to you. I am a big fan of Ys since 15 years ago so you can imagine how old I am now. First Ys I've played was Ys Vanished Omen on MSX2 back then it was on 1.44MB Floppy Disk and I really enjoyed playing it and finished it in Japanese although I understand nothing from it. Untill lateron at 1999 or 2000 I don't remember exactly but I've found fansub to English then I played it again on my old Yamaha MSX2 and I can know understand why all of you like it so much. I like listening to Japanese anime music and playing games. I also like 2D/3D drawing. I am so glad to meet you all. Hi Seldane, well you're guessing is unfortunatly wrong
I am from Iraq !!!. MSX was very famous in Iraq during the 80's and middle 90's made from Yamaha and araborized is Saudi Arabia. I am big fan of MSX and there are already Ys I,II and III for MSX. I also worked with Santi Onanon Villar from Spain for Maze of Galious ( Knightmare II ) to port it to PC which is as good as Ys. ( sorry fot being off topic see the link :

The bad news was taking off the trans. for YS6 because it will make me remember my bad experience with Ys I back on my MSX computer. Although I have PS2 but I totally agree with the others that Falcom music is over 60% of Ys and Konami has ruined the experience by changing the Japanese style into American style as if non american people are null or do not exist. Learning Japanese is the only solution but making 3 scripts ( Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji ) is something so stupid . No offense but I don't know why taking 4 letters and but them as single symbol as if I am doing .RAR to the word to make it unreadable . So disappointing, may be I will learn Japanese when Ys X hit the market
