I recently bought Outrun 2 for the Xbox, and it's a very good arcade racing game. I can't seen to put it down. There's not much to it, but it just so cool. After playing the Daytona like level, I thought how cool it would be to play that game, again, but Mame doesn't emulate the game well, and I might buy it for the Dreamcast, just not right now, so I did this.
I found 3 Daytona USA songs online, and sent them to my xbox through the music mixer, then converted them to play in games, then played it in Burnout 3. Do you have any idea how cool that is? I also took the end boss music to Ys 3, and played Burnout 3 with that. That song works so amazingly well with Burnout, it was awesome.
The cool part, there are actually rolling starts, in Burnout 3.

It's kind of strange after 12 or so people viewed this thread, you're the only one that has a problem with where I posted it.

Well, I can understand why he wants to move it. This topic should belong in the game section but the only person who can move it is Nectaris or Seldane.

Actually, whenever I play Heroes of Might and Magic III, I always change the music. You can do this easily by simply copying over the MP3s that are there (you need to make sure to rename the MP3s you are copying to exactly the same names as the ones you are replacing, including even the capitalization!).
Being something of a game musician myself, I would normally be very much against the practice of ridding oneself of the packaged soundtrack, as this would go against the artistic direction the game creators were shooting for. However, I make an exception for the soundtrack of HOMM3, since it was so spectacularly mediocre.
The soundtrack I replaced it with is just as bipolar as my own personality. Of course, there is some Ys (and other Falcom) music in it, naturally. There's also tracks from Langrisser and Grandia, and several other games as well. There's even a number of tracks from Star Wars and other movie soundtracks (Conan the Barbarian, yeah!!)

I'm just saying Adol feels this thread has a general discussion topic that fits into another catagory - Game Forum.

The Mega Man and Castlevania series have pretty good music, though the Mega Man series' has been slipping (The MMX7 and X8 soundtracks are nothing but generic techno crap). Anything that doesn't have lyrics from the Sonic series is pretty classy. SNK's fighters have godly, almost Ys level music (Well, the ones made before Playmore took over, anyway).
