I thought all Falcom (at least Ys?)-related info would eventually wind up in ALoY in way or another... That was a first to me. It didn't use to be like so... ... I actually was mildly interested in the original ClaDun, thanks to it being from NIS, but I think it was only released on the PSN for the US and Europe regions, ne? ._.' I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNEW ABOUT THIS (without floofy´s help) I didn't learn it from Floofy's site, either. xD I learnt it from the page I put up in the first post. I had stumbled on it MOST randomly. I think I was just googling for pics of the PC-8801 keyboard back when I was trying to check if it actually did have a "COPY" key (which it did, but anyway...). XD Also, needless to say, I'm definitely going to play this.  |

So like, are the characters just pixelated options of what your character will be, or is this more like an actual crossover?

Judging from screenshots, it seems it will actually be a crossover of sorts, because I have seen dialogue. Also, I'll try this game out today to check it further.  |

Hm, the game seems to be sort of fun. So far, nothing too impressive for me. But it's OK. Also, I found out the Falcom content isn't initially in the game: it's DLC. Free DLC. And apparently, there might be more in the future, too, but I'm not sure. The game got localized and released yesterday in English! Official SiteThe question is: will Adol and the others be downloadable, too? If not, could it be possible to use the japanese downloads on this version? I couldn't find anything about any of that in the official page. |

I found out, for the first ClaDun, the japanese version DLC did not work with the game's english version. But they did make those DLCs available themselves later on (at least some of them). I presume it's the same case. But I'm not sure about NISA localizing the DLC for Classic Dungeon X2 like they did for the first game. Not quite sure on Adol & company, at least. Threads about that have been made in NISA's forums, but so far, NISA's mouth remains shut on the matter. For now. Also, it seems the japanese version of the game had had patches along the way. I assume the english version already has them implemented. I saw it on GameFAQs, which pointed to this page, in case anyone is interested. ( Here's it using Google Translator.) |

NISA's mouth still remains shut on the matter. Someone also tested the japanese DLC on the english version: the DLCs do not work, even with a bit of tampering. Hacking aside, it's impossible.
And silence = no, I'd say. That is, I think it's pretty safe to assume NISA will not make Adol & Co. available as DLC in this.
Meaning... This Ys-related cameo is exclusive to the japanese version. *writes down*
