Whee! I'm going to PAX East~! Anyone else heading there? Seems like the 3 hotels that are within walking distance to the con are nearly booked solid already!! X____x!!

I thought of going to PAX East, but it was more of a "hey, it might be neat to go to that sometime" thing than anything more serious. I guess I'll have to decide whether or not to go pretty soon, then, and start making arrangements if I am.
I've actually never been to one of these kind of conventions -- do they usually fill up this quickly?

aha! a convention thread eh? well i don't know if i'll be attending pax, but i'll be attending Khaotic Kon in Florida 2012, and shadocon this year. anyone else heading there?

my cons for 2012- Pizza n' Games in Feb (Central WI) pizzangames.com/Midwest Gaming Classic in March (Milwaukee) Video Game Summit in July (Chicago) Gencon in August (Indianapolis) I've heard amazing things about MAGFest, I really gotta get down to that one of these years  |

I know the odds are that nobody's gonna come, but I just figured i'd put this out there.
I'm gonna be hosting a Final Fantasy VII dinner event at shadocon 2012 November 2-4. we've got the full cast of Final Fantasy VII (and some crisis core) in cosplay, and we'll be providing entertainment.
Its taking place in Tampa Florida. If anyone's interested in going let me know!
