Sadly, he only appears in two memory nod events. The event in which he appears is called "The Mysterious Giant 1", which is what he is called in that link since Adol hasn't recovered his memory completely.

And Lilia?! Anything about Esteria even? But yeah, people are jumping on the gun saying Dogi isn't there! xD He IS there in the end!

- How long is the game? - Are there times where characters leave temporarily? - Also are there times where you must fight without Adol in the party? ( I recall a screenshot with a party of 3 fighting w/o Adol) - Is it possible to solo all the way through?

fireinthehole Is really him??? o__o Dogi is so handsome in Celceta's style! X3 Well, at least, he has two scenes, not like in Ys II, where he only appeared in one art. I'd wish I could play with him, or see him more than two times, but I'm happy with that. X3 Red Yeah, at the end, you were right. Yay! X3 "hugs Red" XDDD About Lilia, don't now, I have to play the game to confirm that. =P MP: I agree. I want my Dogi figure. Or better...A plush...Or even better...(If I can dream XD ) The "real".

Answers: - I'm already past the 20-hour mark but I backtracked to get some chests before continuing with the story and I also let the game idle and stuff too without putting the Vita into standby mode. ^^ Oh yeah, I try to take out the tougher, large enemies every now and then and those battles take time. :3
- Yes, like in Ys Seven
- Yes, about midway(?) through the game. (I've covered almost half of the map of Celceta and just got the option. Leaving Adol out for a bit. XD)
- I ... don't believe so unless you deliberately get your party members killed, I think.

I absolutely love the new Final Decisive Battle, it's feels a bit more epic and more fitting of a final boss than Arem's last form. Totally!!!! WOW! THIS KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad no one complained about the shaky cam. ^^ I'm also glad that you guys agree that the game is beautiful! It really is so I have no idea what people are harping on about when they're talking about the visual quality of it being just a small improvement from SEVEN. >_>
I'll be doing some more gameplay vids, mainly for solutions to quests and puzzles.
Oh yeah, there's a lot of wall busting in the game too! XD But the character cheats and uses his weapon to do it. :( Totally not as hardcore as Dogi!

It'd have been very selfish if anyone complained about the camera being shaky (and I personally didn't notice that). And yeah, the game is beautiful, I have no idea what the hell is wrong with the Kiri guy that PD mentioned.

Maybe people are very picky. He also said that guy had complaints about uncharted, which sounds impossible in the graphical department. This game looks very good in absolute terms, but looks especially good in comparison with Falcom's other work. I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far.

Yeah, some people are just picky. I'm usually not super picky. Some games that are considered terrible, I still enjoy quite a bit. Like the Thor movie game for instance. People make it out to be the worst game ever, but it deffinitely has it's merits, & IS fun. It mainly just had some glitches near the end of the game that made me want to pull my hair out. But, I figured out a way around those glitches, & in the end, enjoyed the game.

Este, Red: How didn't you knew? XDDDD Well, I don't now if I'm the number 1 Dogi's fan, but I certainly adore him so much (it doesn´t see why X3?) XD
About the Uncharted, I only played the demo, and I tell you, I didn't like the graphics a bit. Don't see what people see of that game, my little bro has the PS3 third one, and it's horrible, not to mention the plot is far of being original, and the script is emetic, not to mention (again)you feel dizzy after playing 5 minutes. Sorry for the ones who likes it, but it's what I think. =/
Uh? I don't see any bad things on the Ys camera, neither. .-.

Anyone think that dude(s) who ported Ys Seven to PC will do the same for Ys IV as well? If there are OLED inputs, then that might be solvable by using a mouse or something else like key combinations.

... Not impossible, I'd say.
But I think if so, it will take minimally 2 years from now. Maybe 3 or 4, if ever.

I didn't know there was a fan port of Ys Seven for the PC... do you mean the Chinese PC port?

Pretty sure he meant the Chinese port.

Pretty sure he meant the Chinese port. Correct, its the Chinese port of Ys Seven I was referring to in my previous post. Maybe if the PC version can sell well enough the ports may continue. Do the choices you make in the game have any effect on future events whatsoever? Or characters that give you items if you make them happy?

In Seven there was: momentary dialogue changes aside, you'll be missing 2 entries on your journal on the "Monsters" section if you skip the tutorial, for instance (it was decided by a dialogue choice). That aside... nothing, I think.
