Let's Play of Xanadu!

Some awesome YouTube member by the name of megamarsvin has been doing a Let's Play of Xanadu!

If you're not familiar with Let's Plays, they are basically where someone records him or herself playing a video game from beginning to end while providing informative and or (hopefully) witty commentary.

I am up to Part 7 as of this post, and I'm really enjoying it! He has been doing a great job of explaining the mechanics of the game and showing off some good strategies on how to play.

On the topic of Falcom game LPs, there have been a few on SomethingAwful forums that have been pretty great. There's a screenshot LP of Ancient Ys Vanished by Oyster and a video LP of Ys I & II Chronicles by jttoddy (I don't think this one is finished yet).

Also UnPlayedAThing's playthrough of Ys Book I & II is also a good watch.

I've seen UnPlayedAThing's Ys I & II Let's Play. That one was awesome, a personal favorite. Highly recommended.

Speaking of Let's Play regulars, there's a Wanderers from Ys (SNES) LP by DeceasedCrab I just found out about. Haven't actually seen the whole thing but judging by the first episode (he drops an appropriate Ys I reference) and his other LPs I've seen it should be pretty good.

Anyways, it's awesome to see Xanadu getting some love and attention and I'll definitely have to watch the full series.
