I'm Dan, I'm here for same reason as everyone else and I'm playing Ao no Kiseki. I don't have too much of an issue getting through, but I rarely have any idea what's going on storywise and I miss a few sidequests because I don't know what to do for them. Considering I've been studying Japanese for only a month, I'd say a hundred kanji (I cheat, already knew some Chinese before this) and hira/kata is decent enough. I'll be fine in a few years, but for now I will always appreciate any help in figuring out what I'm playing.

I'm 18, a college freshman in boston, and I look forward to more Falcom in my life 8-)

if i don't get beaten to the chase, i would like to become fluent by 2016 and start translating the 3rd.
