hello everybody!! i´m 25 years old and still crazy for videogames!
the first episode of Ys i saw was ys3 when it came out for super famicom. i found it very interesting although it was completely in japanese. view years later i bought it for my first console the mega drive. maybe because it has of one of the best soundrackst in videogame-history....maybe because of the nice drawings.... maybe because of the sypathics characters...(maybe you think, i have a bad taste) don´t ask me why, YS3 is still one of my favourite games. i love it! especially the mega drive version (i´ve only seen screenshots of the pcengine-version)
in the past i have tried other episodes like ys4 (mask of the sun) and ys5 but because of the japanese language (and the fighting-system in ys4) i didn´t play them.....but....
two months ago i found out that ys6 is coming for ps2 and i became nostalgic again. so i startet searching and searching for as much information as i could get from the internet about the world of Ys. now that i have a translation-patch of ys4 mask of the sun i finally play the game and really enjoy it.
i´m going to play every Ys-game i can get!!!!!!!!!!!!
i hope that i am welcome in the ancient land of Ys...I´m really looking forward to you all!!

hey you´re great everyone!!!thank u!!
today i was searching for about one hour for the iris tower (ys4 mask of the sun). i can´t find the place, where gazock´s house has been before the ancient city appeared.so many times i have problems like this. i search everywhere and cannot find (not only in Ys). don´t you have same problems???you think you´ve surelly searched everywhere for an item or an exit or... and than finally you find it near a place you´ve already been for about 1ooo times. normally i don´t use any walkthroughs. but when i get in situations like this, i don´t think it´s so bad when you take a look. what do you think about it??
