I heard there's supposed to be a 3rd season? Is there muchg known about it? I'm worried that with the rumor that Bandai is moving out of the States, that we won't end up gettng alot of anime, including Code Geass(I think that was a Bandai product?).
I also really wish they'd release the first 2 seasons on Blu-ray, that'd be sweet. But, since I heard about that Bandai rumor, I decided to get them on DVD, since I'm fearing the worst.

OK, it sounds like that Akito the Exiled is going to be set in Europe during the events of the first 2 seasons.
Hmmm, as for Wonderland, that might be fun.
Ofcoarse, will either be released outside Japan, & if they are, will they be dubbed, that's what I really want to know.

Code Geass has as many unrelated manga spin-offs as Negima or Evangelion... and now, crap, they are making them into animated features? ugh
IMO just knowing there was going to be a second season is where Code Geass jumped the shark. That influenced the story alone and then the second season itself was awful (worse than Gundam SEED Destiny though? oooooh that's a tough one...)

Code Gess is one of my top ten series. Although, i still think some of the plot-twist involving R2 should have been better managed

Hmm, it's been awhile, but I remember absolutely loving the 2nd & 1st seasons equally. I look at it as a series where, you almost don't know who to route for, who really is the good guy, it's very cool!

Code Geass is a glaring example with what is wrong with anime today. It had a great idea and a good start, but the pacing was wrong to wrap up all plotlines within a season and when it got greenlit for a second season everything went to shit. It started to come together again towards the end of season 2, but not before becoming a Gundam-style mecha arms race and employing a very cliche plot device to drive the whole conflict. I liked the first season because while it had mecha, it was more about the strategy and the people involved... season 2 was just all about who had the bigger guns. The plot device I'm talking about is the whole stupid "man is alone so we're going to merge all consciousness!" and of course the free-will protagonist won't have any of that. ...also season 2 killed off my favorite character... <_<

bad (insulting?) management of certain plot twists (the thruth about what actually happened to Lelouch´s mother, anyone?). Soooooooooo agree, that made me want to kill puppies.
