For me, it's any of the first 3, but I still slightly lean more towards Mozilla FireFox than the others. So that's my choice. (Obs.: Users can retract vote.)

I've had an preference towards firefox for a long time. Then firefox started pulling this; Not to mention that the current version of Flash likes to hog it's own power and causing firefox and itself to crash for millions of people including me. I am kinda surprised that they haven't hot fixed that yet. Meanwhile in my laptop-land I'm having no problems at all with Google Chrome which tempts me to just fix that for my stationary as well. But I'd have to install Windows 7 too and I am kinda lazy right now for that. Though I should. . .

Firefox started pulling that a long time ago. It's been a known problem since almost the beginning.

Your flash-related problems happen with me when I use Google Chrome, personally. Never checked the memory issue, though.
I guess I'll keep an eye out on the memory whenever I use those two browsers until I spy something fishy like that. I get the feeling it's all the Flash Plug-in's fault, for whichever browser it works, but I can't guarantee anything on that.

Like most computer problems it doesn't effect everyone. I never experienced it until I started using a laptop more. If you google "Firefox memory leak" you should find stuff going back for years.

That's why I use two add-ons; Memory Fox, and Memory Restart. One of them helps with the leaks, both of them monitor memory usage, one of them displays the memory in red (when critical), and one of them allows me to restart Firefox a lot more quickly than the usual close-reopen method; Firefox otherwise complains about there already being a process open and needing to close before reopening Firefox. Saves me time and gives me a chance to do other things in the meantime.
// It'd be nice if I could do something *more* about those Flash leaks, though.

I took a peek at my memory usage thing just now, after reading your post and... O__o~ Seems like I have the same problem? ...Wonder if it's because I have about 20 tabs always open.... :'D On a random note, I was the one who voted for IE. Just because. Nostalgia. IE deserves moar loves~ *kicked to get away from the IE that one never uses anymore*

I prefer Firefox since it cuts out a lot of problems and nuances that often show up when viewing pages with Internet Explorer. But, as a web designer I've had to become very familiar with most of the current browsers used: IE, FF, Chrome and Safari and I can see strengths and weaknesses in each. Pretty much I use the Firefox a main, and the others as a backup or for certain applications (such as internet banking products at my company) with the only browsers that support them, usually IE is required to be supported, whereas the rest are optional.

Last time I checked IE, Chrome etc. couldn't handle 70+ tabs well so, Firefox is my choice.
Memory leak is 2gb sometimes but not so often and it is easy to handle, just kill and revive the Fox, and it's ready to run again.
