Wow very interesting read. I'm glad I didn't buy the gamersgate release of frane now. I only stayed away from it because the launch was so botched. Several delays, lots of bugs, and Securom. Securom for an indi title? The only reason the game didn't get cracked and released was because no one has heard of it.
I have a rule about buying games with drm like securom. It has to be under $7.50; I just don't feel like I truly own it. I was thinking about buying it now that its on sale for $6 But I'll pass now.
So did Omega TH actually have the rights to localize and distribute it? It never did come to steam.

The iOS version was kind of buggy as well, if that's what I'm thinking of.
