Hi all! Ys fanatic here.

Hey everyone. Glad I stumbled upon this board.

I've been an Ys fan for several years now. I've played 1-7 several times, still need to pick up Origins and Strategy.

Falcom is my favorite video game developer. Along with Ys, I'm also crazy about the Dragon Slayer series - and Popful Mail too of course.

In addition to Falcom, I also enjoy Microcabin games immensely (Lucienne's Quest, Riglord Saga, Guardian War, Xak, etc).

I collect JRPGs, as well as video games and consoles of all kinds - from Commodore 64 to Neo Geo AES and everything in between.

I also like the other typical nerdy stuff - CCGs, tabletop and board games, anime, manga... I'm big into underground music (mostly metal) and (attempt to) play a little bass guitar. I spend a lot of time running and watch a lot of track & field.

I'm a stay-at-home dad to a beautiful little girl, and a student at the local university.

The camera drove me nuts - it was disappointing for a Falcom title. Still glad I tried it though.

Bonesnapdeez, it's a hell of a game and once you get used to the camera you'll (hopefully) see that it's a true Falcom gem of a game. It also has one of the finest endings in a game I've ever played. The PSP Gurumin is in English too, so that would be a good one to play.

Anyhow, here's hoping you'll give it a shot. There's a lot worse games out there with worse camera angles too in my opinion. : )

I should clarify that I have actually beaten the game - on PSP.

It wasn't horrible, but not on par with Ys/Popful Mail/Xanadu. I'd give Gurumin like a 6/10.
