Hello everyone! I've been lurking for a while, and figured it was about time I joined in. My first Ys game was Legacy of Ys on DS, and after finishing that I absolutely tore through all the other Ys games I could get my hands on. I've played at least one version of every game except for Kefin, but I think my favourites will always be 1, 2, and Oath.
Aside from Ys, I play a lot of Metal Gear Solid, Shin Megami Tensei, Pokemon, and Ace Attorney, as well as dungeon crawlers and any kind of rhythm game (though my heart will always lie with Elite Beat Agents). Aside from video games, I'm into music (lots of J-rock...), anime and manga, and drawing. I'm currently taking some time off from university, where I study Japanese and creative writing.
It's great to meet you all!

bonesnapdeez The DS version is a really good place to start, I think! Having the map on the bottom screen makes it a lot easier. Truner Thank you! I love Ouendan too, and I used to play osu! but haven't in ages... I should probably start again before I get even further behind on all the new beatmaps. It's amazing that a niche game series like EBA/Ouendan generated such a huge community that's still making new content.

Ouendan is one of the drugs I'm addicted to.

For such a short game, Ouendan really has a lot of staying power. I can't believe it's been 8 years since the first game was released and I still can't stop trying to beat my high scores...
