That game looks pretty cool, thanks for sharing lindaluv! I like how the strategy battle elements played out, looked easy to understand. It indeed does play kind of similar to Treasure Hunter G. I also liked the soundtrack that I heard so far from this game. Hmm.... I sure wish this was in english.... oh gideonnn~ j/k Anyways, thanks again for putting this out there.

It's a Korean RPG published in Japan by Falcom for PC. Falcom later ported it to Dreamcast and PS2. Never played it myself, though.

It's part of War of Genesis series (Korean rpg series). The story is loosely based on The Count of Monte Cristo with many characters' names' coming from that novel. The game assumes you have played War of Genesis 2, which is a Korean DOS game, so there are some parts where you would have no clue what characters are talking about. Falcom actually improved many things (i.e. rearranging soundtrack and adding automove function to the map) when they were publishing this game. Overall, it's a decent game but I wouldn't exactly recommend it.

I didn't think he had too much of a resemblance to Magus though. Now that you mentioned it, he kinda does share some similarities there. Now that I've seen this, I should probably look into more anime styled rpgs and strategy games at that, they seem to have some good potential.

I've been wanting to track the ps2 version down and try it out. My only complaint about the original Korean PC version was the mouse controls. I think the ps2 version has the possibility of fixing that for me. As fireinthehole said it's a part of the War of Genesis series; one of two side stories that I believe take place either during or after War of Genesis 2.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rhapsody of Zephyr gets translated one day. I've seen it requested a few times in different places. I wouldn't hold my breath though. PS2 emulators still leave quite a bit to be desired as far as debugging and hacking go, and translating the original Korean pc version is probably a better prospect than translating a translation and there is a whopping one person translating Korean games.
But here's to hoping.
