For those who played them, how would you rate them? and is there anything wrong with them? How would you compre Ys IV games (Snes, PCE, PS2 and Vita)?

Ys III was great, but too easy. Ys IV was a slow mess of far too long dungeons, lacking in quality. Ys V was nice, though the original is still better.

I love Ys I & II Eternal Story for basically being Ys I & II Complete with voice acting, and having cool arrangements of the music. I really enjoyed Ys III for the graphics and voice acting. I'm not a fan of the Redmont music in it, though. Most of the other music in it I find to be awesome. Ys IV for me got better the second half of the game, by then the dungeons had noticeable boundaries, and they didn't look so much like walking around a canvas splattered with a bunch of paint. I got stuck early in Ys V and shortly thereafter just felt uninspired to play it, I like the graphics and music though.
