Although I've been hanging in the #falcom IRC for a few months now, I'm relatively new to the Ys series despite being interested in it for years. Actually, I only started playing because I was watching the Falcom Acoustic Live and Talk Show on January 25th this year and became fed up with the breaks between sessions and it happened to be apricotsushi's #Falcomonth playalong on Twitter. I started playing Ys Chronicles I, which I finished the same afternoon, and continued with its direct sequel, which I finished the day after. In the following months, I also played Ys: Memories of Celceta and most recently Ys Seven. Currently, I'm giving Ys VI a shot, but so far it isn't as impressive as the other four.
Apart from that, I'm a full-time ICT project manager who spends his spare time gaming (obviously), writing (reviews and stuff), researching (in the academic way) and translating (primarily for my site). I'm also hanging around at the DDS-NET forums with Truner and Ninten.
