Hiya, I'm Tek, and I decided to register here at long last. Greetings. ^^
I've known about Ys in passing for what seems like ages, yet I never took the plunge into the series 'til I scooped up The Oath in Felghana on Steam early this year. One SPECTACULAR game later, Ys had ensured its venerable place in my gaming repertoire. Due to various financial and time constraints, however, I didn't follow up on any of the other titles until a couple of days ago, when my girlfriend and my brother - two different people! XD I assure you - conspired to gift me a PlayStation Vita as my early (and only) Christmas present. Seizing the day, I swooped down to the local video game store to snatch up Memories of Celceta and have just begun my foray into that particular chapter of Adol's illustrious adventuring. Since I still consider myself quite a newbie to the Ys series, I'm considering double-dipping with either Origin or Chronicles while they're discounted on Steam, although Trails in the Sky might well preempt them in the shopping queue.
Anyhow, not much to say about myself except that I absolutely love and devote myself to my girlfriend, who is also my best friend, and I've remained a fervent gamer of all variations back since the days of Atari and continuing to the present consoles, handhelds, and PC titles. Favorite games/series include Deus Ex, Thief, Shin Megami Tensei, Pokémon, Shantae (hi SkyeWelse!), Castlevania, Metroid, Sonic, Mega Man, Dance Dance Revolution - and, likely in the very near future, Ys.
