What are the best ones?
What do you recommend?
Where do you get them?
For how much?
Yeah I'm looking for the English ones. I don't want any hentais. Hentais are no-noes. And if you know imports that do have a 100% patch available (like Planetarian), that would also do^^

You know, someone really should somehow make a patch for the Turbo version of Snatcher, using the translation from the Sega CD version. I mean, it's only fair, since the Sega CD version IS the Turbo version, with watered down graphics(Konami ported it over to the Sega CD, there never was a Mega CD version, either way, they should be close, if not the same dialogue-wise, unless there was any complete scenes taken out?).

There sure was a Mega-CD version of Snatcher. Dunno about the Japanese one, but it got released in Europe.
"Translating" the PCE version would be incredibly useless -- considering the Mega-CD/Sega CD is so much more popular than the PCE -- and the games are identical.

Um, what is a visual novel? Is that a game that is like one of those choose your own adventure books? I've never played Snatcher, but I heard tings.

Visual novels are pretty much like that, but in digital format with more content and sometimes with more variety (mostly they're just linear).Yeah, they're not actually games, but when they're as good as Snatcher, you'll likely "read" them again and again^^

well haven, I don't know if you have a turbo duo or an emulator for said system, but there are a few titles that I would throw in that genre that were released in the us for that system, like sherlock homes, it came from the desert, etc. I don't know, maybe that's not quite what you're looking for, but it sounds like it would be in the ballpark.

Those are similar, but I don't know. They're usually called Digital Comics, or atleast, that's what I've always heard. And there wasn't a Mega CD version in Japan, from what I've "heard". Which is kind of odd. But, there's plenty of people that would love a translation of the Turbo version.......along with the 3DO version(or any version really) of Policenaughts.
Oh, & the Turbo has an awful lot of digital comics, I have several of them, but, I don't have alot of interest in playing them, since I don't understand a word there saying.

It's noteworthy that Radical Dreamers really isn't all that interesting. Especially if you played the other Chrono Trigger games. However, one of these days, I am going to get my hands on Phoenix Wright, and that will be a good day indeed. >

I suppose if you really like story games, and really really hate Chrono Cross. Then again, I'm easy to please and never really had too much beef against Chrono Cross.

Debatable statements, I suppose. Personally I think Square should be more ashamed fo Hylide :X
I can respect your opinion, although I'd say the Kingdom Hearts games beat both those in outright awfulness.

Perhaps I should look these things up, rather than going from 14 year old memories. Who did make Hydlide? =(
Also: Time to really sabotage my credibility.
FFX-2 is fun.
No. Seriously. It is. Yes, there is the horrible fanservice aspect, everyone knows about this. But what they never tell you is that there is also a seventies movie aspect to it. And this aspect is completely awesome. Not to mention it has a very fun battle system. Also, it probably has one of the best post-epic themes I've seen. And yes, Yuna is fanservicy. But you know what else? She actually grew a spine.
For added credibility-shattering: I hated FFX. :K
Okay, resume mocking =D

Chrono Cross gets way more fun if you imagine that Nikki has Ozzy Osbourne's voice.
Try it =D

FF8 > FF6. Yes, in every respect. I'd agree if I didnt find the gameplay in FF8 so boring. The gameplay alone forced me to stop playing by disc 3, but I liked the game so much (or was it just the characters, cgs, and story that i liked?) that I kept trying over and over again from the start to see if I could finish it, but disc 3 was always the end of the line. And how could they have ever decided to make "blue fields" the overworld theme of the whole game? anyways, its FFVI > FFVIII > FFVII >>> FFX for me. but my opinion on the topic doesnt matter cuz i generaly dont like FF as a series *puts up flame sheild* this is routine for me whenever i express my opinion on this series.
