A brief hello from a new member

Hello. I'm Arjak, and I'm new to the universe of Ys (Why do I feel like such an idiot saying this?) and this board, and I just want to warn you, I may ask some stupid questions; please don't get too impatient.



OK, I joined this forum because I wanted some downloads. I can't find a Ys rom file anywhere! Why the heck is that? I found a rom for a PC88 exclusive Mario game and I can't find a Ys rom.

Someone tell me there's hope for me...

...and for PC88 emulation.

Hey welcome! You'll be enjoying the PC-8801 Ys games in no time if you just keep posting a little. (And.... When I have uploaded them - but I will, shortly. I assure you.)

About that Mario game, I wouldn't call it "PC-8801 exclusive" since Nintendo would never make a game for a different console than their own, so this is either a hack of some sort, or a game made by a third part company or just a hobby project of some Japanese. There are several unofficial Mario games for DOS and MSX, for example.
