Hey all, I used to be a frequent user of this forum before the upgrade.
Long story short, I left because Falcom stopped PC game production after Ys Origins and I didn't want to go to the PSP.
So after a few years of indulging in other hobbies like movies, animes and chasing girls, I ended up in Japan a couple of years back and bought a Playstation VITA from Akihabara... and one of the first games I downloaded from the PS Store was the PSP version of Ys Seven.
So yeah, I guess I'm back.
It's such a long time, I wonder if any of the old members are still around? And if they still remember me lol. I can barely remember some of them though.. like the Captain and wyrdwad..
Anyway with my VITA, I get to love Falcom gaming all over again and I'm hyped with Ys 8 coming out this year.
Cheers

Welcome back Musa. Good to see you again and glad to here that you've finally gotten back into the latest Ys installments. I really liked Ys Seven actually and I'm currently playing through Ys V and Ys Celceta and looking forward to Ys 8. The forum isn't quite as lively as it used to be, but a few of us are still around. Wyrdwad works at XSEED. The Captain hasn't been active, but MP83, Game Music Freak, Xalphenos, Unsavory and several others from days of olde still roam here on occasion. Are you still living in Japan? -Thomas

Oohh, I remember you Thomas! And yeah I recognize those guys as well lol. Actually I'm not living in Japan, I was holidaying there and was looking around Akihabara for some otaku stuff when I saw the VITA on sale. So yeah, I've been preordering stuff straight from Falcom for years now. I got the Ao no Kiseki Evolutions for Vita, Sen no kiseki 1 and 2, Ys Tree of Celceta and the latest Tokyo Xanadu. Unfortunately due to married life (yeah chasing girls did work out somehow ), I have barely time to play my games but hey I can still surf the forums during work eh?

Welcome back! Can't say I remember you since I'm pretty new here but it's good to hear that your Falcom love was revived after all these years. Falcom love never die

Welcome back, Musa! Yeah, well since you've been gone, the Faxanadu project has been coming along full-force. We finally have a bug-free vanilla patch with English rendering. I've also been successful (married, two kids and a dog) and timewise have been doing a balancing act of my own. Before that, I became a power-crazed lunatic and we lost a few members. I think Captain's on hiatus due to both a shift in power and forum balancing. Hopefully he comes back, he's a pretty awesome guy. Plus, I think the forum has been a lot more in balance since the addition of our new moderator, Truner. Others we've lost include Kimimi, Alan Smithee, and Justinzero. Also California Raison.
