Massive rulesance.
Any word on it getting released in North America? That would be totally awesome - MW4 in English = perfection.
Looks like it contains the arcade versions of WB, MW and Monster Lair. Hopefully they'll include the Master System/Mega Drive versions too, I prefer those.

The only Sega Ages that came to america was the Sega Classics Collection that contained 10 of them. I have only played the Turbo Grafx versions of the Monster World games mind Monster Lair, Dynastic Hero, Dragons Curse which are great games. I hear Monster World IV for the Megadrive is really good. I do want to play that game. It would be great to see this come to america but I highly doubt this will get localized.

Yeah, I really am drooling for an english release of this. But I'm afraid it might not happen. My only hope, is that, now the PS3 is out, we'll start getting budget/obscure games released over here, like what was done with the PS1!

This is one of my most wanted for 2007. Monster Land is one of my favorite arcade games ever (top 5 for sure) and I actually own a PCB of a bootleg English version of it (no more cabinet to put it in though). If they follow the last few Sega Ages releases, this should have most, if not all, versions of the games on the set (some will be hidden).. including English versions! I was actually shocked to see they were going as far to include the TG-16 version of Monster World II (called Dragon's Curse). If they managed to also include Dynastic Hero in there (TG-SCD version of Monster World III) I'd cry tears of joy.
March 8th, please to hurry up!

If there including the English versions of the monster world games then thats really kick ass. The only thing is that Monster World IV was never localized to English officially. I believe there is a rom with a English patch available. Nevertheless a unblelievable collection.

I've never played a Monster World game, but from those screens, they look pretty awesome.

Between the Turbo, Mega Drive & Arcade versions, the Turbo is my favorite, if only for the music. But the graphics are replicated quite well in that version! Though, no paralax due to it being a regular cd game.

Monster Lair for the Turbo was one of the first CDROM titles ever to be released. The game plays just like a shmup.

Mine shipped today (along with Legend of Starfy 1 for my Starfy obsessed friend. Super Robot Wars W for my robot obsessed friend and Tales of Tempest for my Tales obsessed self).
The trailer does show that English version of the games are there where available.. which leaves Wonder Boy in Monster Land and Monster World IV in Japanese only (Monster Land had a couple of [bad] English bootlegs and MWIV was only fan translated) unless Sega has a surprise in store (doubtful). I've read that PC-Engine versions would be there.. but I've also NOT read that in other places.. but I suppose I'll know soon enough.

I own an official and original Wonder Boy in Monster Land game for Master System. In English.

The arcade version was only released in Japan. The Master System version is very inferior to the original.. though I'd suspect that the English Master System version will be on the disc. On the other hand, the PC-Engine version.. called Bikkuriman World, other than having some crappy anime characters replacing the bosses, is about 98% arcade perfect.. only a true nut for the game like me would know the differences (besides the anime tie-in, obviously). I don't think this will be on the disc due to the tie-in.

I sure hope they put English versions on the compilation.
