Good news, unless they're planning on releasing all the versions in which everyone somehow bleeds milk.
I would love to have some Last Blade and Samurai Shodown, though.

It is indeed good times. Until you play someone who can do geometry in their sleep, anyways.
._.
Twinkle Star Sprites, though...man, that'd set the Wii on fire.

Windjammers, Blazing Star, Magical Drop, Shock Troopers. Spent much time with all of them. But if it gets some fighters, it's only more proof that it can be done on the Wii and that SNKP should bring on the newer KOFs what should one be on the look out for from MSX? Besides Metal Gear...

For MSX? EVERYTHING! MSX rules.
Of course, none of these games will be available outside of Japan, of course.

It hasn't happened with Neo Geo yet, but the President of Nintendo of America actually confirmed MSX for VC last E3. Despite that, we never heard anything about MSX VC plans afterwards, until now.
I think they're a lot more likely to happen this year for the US than translated import games and TG-CD games are, at least.

I doubt they'd release ANY MSX game outside of Japan. Nobody would buy them.

Metal Gear?? And if they'd release no MSX games in the US because "no one would buy them" yet released Urban Champion for the NES on VC... someone has gotta get shot. Seriously, it's beyond comprehension sometimes... so far as i've heard, everything is being bought on VC... even fricken Urban Champion. Anyways, doubt away... all the bigger the surprise when it happens.

Does Eggerland = Eggy? One of the two games they mentioned are already set for the Japanese VC. Is Aleste any good? Never heard of it... *checks google* hey cool, another shooter.

This is good news. I was actually planning on buying a Neo Geo home console. If Nintendo actually puts out decent games for it I might just buy a Wii.

Woah, new interview with the SNKPUSA president! Interesting read about Neo Geo on VC and the VC in general... very promising stuff. This guy has been talking about supporting the VC with SNK games since Wii's announcement and the talk about the future of SNK. news.spong.com/article/11950?cb=538It'll be slow going with a small amount of games per week as usual, which is still a lot more than can be said for other consoles, but it sounds like they want to get every AES and MVS game on there eventually. As a side note, with GDC being next week, a ton of Nintendo and 3rd party devs are speaking and many say that this will be when VC's future gets revealed in full force. Homebrew VC games will be revealed and encouraged, among other things. So hopefully American plans for Neo Geo and MSX get official announcements. and I've already put down a mental preorder for Wii's inevitable arcade stick attachment...
