Does anyone know where I can see how well games did on the market around the world? I recently viewed many games from Hardcore gaming website and became curious about how those reviewers know the games' selling. This is purely for hobby purpose (I just like these details), not to make judgments on games.

I see a lot of negativity on various boards towards vgcharts's accuracy in determining sales. I've heard from many who like to closely follow game sales that Media Crates is the best and most accurate source, and that even developers use it to track sales. Unfortunately it seems that it's in Japanese, but there are gaming blogs and sites and some boards that have translations for every update (you almost always see people reference Media Creates everywhere you find a weekly top 10 chart, actually). Then there's this wiki page... but that depends on how much trust you have in wikis. but everythins seems to have it's reference and sources in there so...
