Did anyone else get this game yet? Discuss here. So far it is great! The art and design of the characters and environments is amazing. I'm trying to juggle this, Odin Sphere and Sora No Kiseki SC, but I'm committed to finishing all of them during June.

It's gonna be great! I was letting work consume me again, great games are what I need. I forgot to mention I got the Dawn of Mana "soundtrack" that was a giveaway to those who reserved the game. As we all could have guessed, it's only one disc, with only five songs on it. I would like to see this change. Maybe they could sell the complete soundtrack at a discount when you reserve the game for those interested. It would be similar to how some stores do with strategy guides. If not, well, one day I'm going to have a store that sells nothing but game music and Falcom games anyway.

I originally had it pre-ordered, because of the ost. But, once I saw the ost, I saw how small it was, so I knew it wasn't the whole soundtrack, so, I cancelled. I'll get the game someday down the road. I just hope it hits the $20 mark, before it gets rare.

I never really got into the Mana series after the SNES version, my little sister on the other hand has played most of them. I always considered it a bad sign when even she won't play a game.
I stopped by Gamefaqs and read some of the pro's/con's and it still doesn't seem all that hot. So how it is handling for you?

I got deeply disapointed with the game ><
It's Square Enix afterall...
Still, being a big fan from the Mana series, I ought to at least finish it once...=/
Also where's the multiplayer?! o.O A Mana game without multiplayer? Only Seiken Densetsu (1), Sword of Mana and that title doesn't have a multiplayer option (I dunno about Children of Mana though).
While I was playing it, it made me think: "Why are games like that one brought to our shores while Ys games aren't...?" u.u'
Still, I heard that the game has an excelent soundtrack. I'll get to hear it when I get further in the game.

Hey Red Hairdo, did you get any keys in the first dungeon? I couldn't find them yet. I'm thinking they might be hidden behind a wall.
The soundtrack to this game is excellent. I have to say I still really like the game. Multiplayer would be great, but I just like the look and style of it. It's still early, but as of now I haven't encountered anything that would cause me to put it down. I still haven't read any reviews on the game yet, so I don't know what others have said, aside from Red Hairdo.

Well, I'm still on Chapter 1. So far I didn't find any keys, although I did find some weird, small and hidden "orbs". Whenever I'm searching for secrets I destroy every destroyable object and examine walls...yes, probably there are keys behind some walls. I'll continue the game tomorrow, so until then I can't help much..
I did read only one review at GameFAQs. The guy wasn't very satisfied either, but he claimed the OST was beatiful.
edit: Oh ya, forgot to mention that before destroying objects and such, be sure they can't be used to get you to other places. Like, there are stones you gotta climb to get to certain places and if you destroy them you won't be able to get there.

I preordered from Amazon for the music disc, really. Everything I've read about this game suggests that it is awful, perhaps the worst yet to mar the series. Really, Seiken Densetsu was only brilliant once. Secret of Mana for the SNES. It all went downhill there. Anywho, I haven't played yet, and probably won't... ever. Hell, I think my order is still in my office somewhere. I'll have to bring it home one day.
