Well, I guess it wasn't just me. None of my friends can relate when I mention Ys, and now I find a whole community! What an awesome idea.
I've been into the Ys games since getting my very first TG-CD game and it said "Ys, the ideal eutopia..." <sigh> and by the looks of it, alot of you have too.
I just want to say Hi to everyone here.

Heh. Welcome to the boards, Ichi. Always nice to have another Ys fan around, so good to have you aboard. ^_^ And I can relate when you say none of your friends know about Ys. Even the members of the gamer-heavy, Japan-infatuated anime club I go to give me queer looks when I mention the name. << Eh well. Certainly have more than enough people here to make up for that. Ichibanrei? What does that mean except you are using it as a name? However.... Welcome! um, well I know what you mean about the Aliennated thing but not that "OMG Ys!" Myself feels more Aliennated when it comes to Gundam or Silent Hill  |

My fav beer used to be Ichiban (Kirin), and a buddy of mine always called me that. It sort of stuck. My Name is Rey, so IchibanRei. It made it real easy to make up e-mail addresses and usernames since I think I've been the only one to use it |
