Is it possible to charge up the Lightning Bracelet and charge at Galvaran when he creates the field of ice right before he crashes into the platform?
I've tried numberous times, but I still end up being damaged by the field.

When he does that, go either to the upper left or upper right corner of the platform,
Full-charge your whirlwind thing and when he approches to crash,
jump and unleash the charged whirlwind attack while moving into the weak point
and then you could either unleash a quick "weak" whirlwind attack, or
if you have that "desperation meter" (that's what I call it) charged up by that moment.....
SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(and with that kind of music that was playing in this confrontation, doing things like these is very very fun *licks cheek*)

Yeah, the whirlwind bracelet works perfectly for me, but I'd like to know if I can still use this for extra damage.

Yeah, the whirlwind bracelet works perfectly for me, but I'd like to know if I can still use this for extra damage. The moment you used the charged whirlwind attack to dodge Galbalan's fill-the-platform-with-icicles-then-shatter attack, you quickly move to the weak spot WHILE STILL SPINNING so not only did you dodge the attack but you dealt damage at the same time. And like I said, you could either press the magic button again for an extra spin or two (until the magic bar depletes anyway) or do the mentioned "boost mode" and go all out on the weak spot until it closes.
